P R E F E R E N C E S LIKES – - The first priority in her life has always been her relationship with her family- more particularly, with her parents; since she was young, she has wanted nothing more than to make them proud in everything she does- from her major at an Ivy League university to who she learns to love. – - She has continually been fond of storytelling throughout the course of her life- being raised on the royal fairytales of princess and their knights as well as the classics of young boys solving mysteries and fighting injustices, an interest which rendered her forever influential with her words. – - She has an odd fascination with international politics and history, always having been partial to study the social and political climates in her own country as well as in their allies and foes, obsessing over why some are successful in their heroic views. DISLIKES – - It isn't that she loathes being in front of the camera- she has grown rather used to the lenses being present in everyday life- whether she wants it or not- but she does not particularly enjoy the ingenuine nature of the media and its requests of her family. – - She didn't exactly enjoy her high school experience, considering the fact that it was intensely focused on getting her future in the right place rather than enjoying her last years as a child, something she regretted later on. – - Being questioned is one of her least favorite things, not when it comes to facts or matters of intelligence but more so when someone presses to far into matters that she is uncertain of herself, specifically in her sexuality. E S S E N T I A L S PERSONALITY – - At the core of who she is, Cecily is the most loyal girl anyone could ever hope to have by their side; being shown that nothing but love and raw passion will hold the world together, shown by her parents' example, she sees it that to live her life in anything short of that measure of trust and compassion wouldn't be acceptable. She has a nature to desire for things to be just and fair, as much as they can be according to structure, fighting for these things in her own respective right. OCCUPATION – - Student- currently majoring in criminal justice with a minor in psychology at the local Ivy League. – - Part-time Bookstore Employee- in charge of restocking as well as story times and writing workshops. BACKSTORY – - Since she was a young girl, she was raised in a world where things were very black and white- justice and corruption, good and evil, right and wrong- with little room in-between, her bedroom walls filled with shelves holding storybooks in which good would always win and the happy ending was always a guarantee; many consider her childhood one of naivety- that her parents were negligent in showing her the real world- but rather, it was one that taught her to look for compromise, a lighter shade of gray. She tended to learn to see the best in people no matter what impression they first gave off- learning this from her parents' smiles as accusations and curses were spat at them on the campaign trail, still holding true to their promises. But most of all, after watching her parents impact the world in the way they knew best to- she wanted nothing more than to make them proud, something she once thought certain before she began to question who she was in a way she never had before. • This character has actually been in the works for a rather long while, but she's finally coming to life thanks to major inspiration from seremndipity !•
