Ace's Pov

There was more to this story I know it there is something that he kept hidden away from me I just don't know what it is. "Ace?" He broke me out of my thoughts. It's been weeks and so far it's been pretty good I'm feeling some sort of peace in me but I keep feeling so drawn to Vincent's room. "Yeah sorry I zoned out there for a bit."

We are sitting next to the lake looking over the water as the sun rises and honestly it looks beautiful that might be the only thing I like about this cruel place so far. "I heard from ben a guard that wants to help us." He says as he takes out a folded paper from his coat. "He wants us to change the kingdom." He says as he opens the folded piece of paper then he reads it out loud.

"Here we have been abused by the 'government' power we the innocent
Souls shall not let this go on even if it means by force. So join us in our militia that will help with our rebellion against the kingdom of Elof
Thank you for your time." He folds the paper then he puts it in his pocket. "Wait I never met Ben," I said scratching an invisible bug off my face as he looks at me. "He is a guard of the kingdom that wants to help us with changing the kingdom." He said as he gets up so I got up with him thinking I was gonna come along I got up too but to my surprise, he didn't move." what now?" I asked him confused.

"Go home I must speak with Ben now. I have a meeting with him at sunrise so go home and take care of the kids." He trusts me with children? "What?!" He chuckles "I'm joking the kids are safe with one of Ben's men go to whatever you want I don't care." Wait wait wait... Really? He never lets me do anything! "Yeah, Imma go home." He nods then he looks at his watch then I turn around when I head out of the area I was in to go back to the underground bunker.

I climb down then I see a man telling a story to the young girls as they sit in a circle with him. He stops then looks at me. "Is this Ace I'm looking at?" He said in a friendly tone which surprises me because who in the world would be nice in this world? I just simply nod. He chuckles "well I'm Alex I work with Ben." He said with a huge smile. "Its good to see you," I said in a confused because I don't know manners. "Well, I'm gonna stay here so do whatever you like." I nod in response then I wait for him to get distracted by the girls then I take my chance.

I head into Vincent's room I see a room with a bookshelf, a table with a chair, a bed, and a pulling sensation... I feel like I'm connected with his room for some reason. I find myself pulling the books and putting them back one by one until I pull a false book then the bookshelf moves like a door loudly enough that Alex might already hear it. I see a tunnel with a dim light at the end of it. I hear Alex's footsteps so I sprinted into the tunnel but I hear Alex's footsteps speeding up behind me trying to catch up to me.

I finally head into the light then I see my father's blade in lava that is in a pot. Vincent left it there so it can be destroyed and I won't let it happen. Alex catches up to me as I walk to the pot then I kick it down to Alex's direction then Alex starts to step back away from the spreading lava. I see the blade's handle sticking out of the lava so I snatched it out from the lava and I immediately regret it because it burnt my hand but the pain didn't last long the knife somehow cooled down immediately. I feel the adrenalin run inside me. "I won't let you touch that thing any longer!" He yelled at me firmly. "What are you gonna do?" I smirked as he steps back trying to avoid the lava. "You can't do much can you?" The tunnel was very wide so I use my wings to fly towards him and then I kick him knocking him down. He grunts as he gets up then he swings an uppercut because he is smaller than me but I caught his fist and he frowned. "You can't do much," I say as I knee his gut. He bends down holding his stomach groaning in pain I grab his neck then I lift him up with one arm walking towards the lava. "No no please don't do this I promise I won't tell Vincent just don't do what I think your gonna do!" Him begging for his life is annoying me so much so

I throw him into the lava and he starts screaming. I turn around when I see the girls looking back at me with those traumatized eyes they immediately run away. I don't care if they run or if they tell anyone. I walk away from the murder scene and close the door to leave Alex in the lava without a care in a world.
