The Mythical Kingdom (Completed)

Alive

Hey, guys in case if you skipped the previous chapter because of the violence but I will summarize what happened. Ace fought Vincent and Vincent lost because the top of the castle landed on him but he survived and he escaped. That's a short summary so enjoy the chapter!!!!

Vincent's Pov

I wake up still with pain in my leg and the bright sun in my eyes. I'm surprised that I didn't die and waste a life. I turn my head scanning the environment all I see are corpses from the attack. I get up leaning on the cone of the castle that almost crushed me. My knees start to get weak easily as I try to walk but I keep limping. I found my sword under a couple of rocks that are half my size. I walk to the rock but I trip and fall over a foot long rock.

"AAGGHH" I screamed in pain after I fall on my stomach. I make my arms stand up and push against the ground so I can sit up. I start crawling to the almost buried sword then I wrap my fingers around the handle. I pull on it with all my force but it didn't come out. I let go of the handle and limp to the rocks on it then I get on my knees I put my hands on one side then I push with all my might. I pushed it off successfully as I groan from the pain my body was experiencing.

I look down at the sword then I gasp at the sight of the sword that broke in two. I know it's just a sword but it's an important sword because it represented my family tree. I almost felt my eyes water in tears as I look at the sword but I shook it off and I grab it by its handle then I stab it to the ground so it is standing up. I look around so I can see what I can use as a crutch but so far I couldn't use anything since everything I saw was either too weak or too round. I crawled around gagging at the smell of the corpses and dust that was flying everywhere.

I crawled and found a walking stick that was broken I sighed then I kept crawling looking around and avoiding looking at any bodies for the sakes of my sanity until I found an unloaded musket next to a soldier that Ace must've killed. I grabbed the musket I stuck the nose to the ground then pushed down on it so I could get up. I put the butt of the musket in my armpit so I can lean on it. (since muskets are very long in length) I walked on the crutch away from the corpses to the road where the trees are still burning on the side of the road and now I'm back on the road again.

Katelyn's Pov

I ride the horse that is attached to a carriage that Sarah is in. "I'm scared... What if Vincent doesn't make it or worse?!" she starts panicking. "look he will be alright remember he said how he has nine lives? Even if he does die he will come back so no need to panic." I said in an ensuring tone. "What if he loses all his lives?" I can her sniffle like if she is going to cry. "Hey don't cry it's going to be alright I promise." I can hear her calming down. "You promise?" She said still in a sad tone. "I... I promise."

I can feel her looking and me with a warm smile from behind me even if I can't see her. "Do you know where we are going?" she asked worriedly. I simply replied with "yes, " even in reality I came out of a portal into this world without a single clue where we are going but since I'm older I will take responsibility and find a shelter. I shield my eyes from the sun when I see a house in the distance. I think I might had found a place.
