Chapter 20

Edward's POV:

I was out in the field sitting on the bench just reading a book but then Heaven came and her hair was messy and she was crying and her cheek was red.

"Heaven what happened to you?! Who did this to you?!" I asked her and hugged her

"MayMay" That was all she said and I just kissed her forehead

"Babe you sit here, I'll go talk to MayMay" I said and I was fuming. I quickly went in the cafeteria and I saw MayMay there eating and I walked over to her

"MayMay we need to talk" I said and they all looked at each other

"What for?" She asked

"Just come with me" I said and grabbed her arm and pulled her outside

MayMay's POV:

Grabe ha he has a strong grip, gosh I don't want another bruise, I have so much already.

"Edward what do you need?" I asked him and he looks pissed, he didn't even answer me

"Oyyy Edward sagot!" I said and he still didn't answer me. I was about to walk away but he grabbed my arm and pulled me

"Edward what's happening to you?!" I exclaimed, and he just shook his head

"Nothing's wrong with me" He said, and I just scoffed

"Oh cmon, ano ba ang problema mo?!" I asked

"You're my problem!!, Heaven told me what you did to her" He shouted, and I was confused

"I didn't even do anything to her!" I said, and he just laughed bitterly

"Oh cmon MayMay stop lying, she said that you shouted at her, slapped her and to add to the list, sinabunutan mo siya!!" He shouted, and to say I was shock was an understatement

"I didn't do any of that stuff Edward and you know that I would never do that to anyone" I said

"Stop lying to me MayMay!! Heaven told me you did all those things to her" He said

"And you believed her?!" I asked him, and he nodded his head

"Of course I believed her, she's my girlfriend" He said, ouch sakit.

"Eh ako? Best friend mo ako Edward, I've known you longer than she has, and you know me better than her!!" I exclaimed

"Oo nga, pero you're just my best friend, bakit mo ginawa sa kanya yun, you know that's she's leaving in a few days and I need to make her happy, not sad and hurt!! She needs me, she need my time" He shouted

"How about me Edward?! I'm your best friend!! I need your time and I need you too, you know why?! Because I'm sick, I have freaking leukaemia!! Stage 3!!, but do you know that?! No you don't because you're always with that freaking Heaven!! Edward can't you see that everything is her fault, she took you away from me, she took away my best friend!! She ruined everything Edward! We were all fine until she came in our lives! Our lives were perfect but then she just had to come in and ruin everything!! I'm your best friend Edward, I have known you longer than she has, you know me better, I know you better, you of all people should know that I would never do that to anyone! Look at me I'm a mess, I have leukaemia and I am a girl whose best friend left her for another girl! I sacrificed my own happiness for you Edward, Heaven told me to stay away from you and I did! She threatened me and I didn't mind her, but there was one thing that she told me to do that I couldn't, which was to get rid of my feelings for you. There I said it, I have feelings for you, I like you more than a friend! I just hope you weren't so blind to see. I hope you have a good life now, have a good life WITHOUT me!" I exclaimed and I saw a shocked expression on his face but I just didn't mind it I just ran away from him, I heard him calling my name but I didn't bother to turn around. I just ran.

Edward's POV:

When she said all of those I was so shocked, she has leukaemia and I didn't know? Heaven did all of those? Gosh I was so stupid, I was so blinded by Heaven that I forgot about my best friend. I tried to call her name but she didn't turn back. I'm so stupid, my best friend has leukaemia?! Oh my gosh I need to talk to Heaven, I have to break up with her. When I went back to the field I was really shocked with what I saw. Heaven was making out with another guy

"Heaven?!" I exclaimed and she and the guy broke apart and they both just looked at me.

"Babe I can explain-" She started but I cut her off

"Don't even bother, we're over Heaven, MayMay told me everything that you did to her. How could you do that to her?! Just stay out of my life and stay away from MayMay!" I shouted at her and I just walked away. I walked in the cafeteria and I looked for MayMay and she wasn't there. I saw that the others were still there and I ran over to them

"Have you guys seen MayMay?!" I asked and they all just looked at me

"No we haven't seen her since you dragged her out of here" Marco said

"Why? Where's Ate May?! What did you do to my cousin?!" Yong exclaimed

"Look, I'll explain later, just please help me look for MayMay" I said and they all nodded and got up and got their stuff and quickly ran around the place.

*A FEW HOURS LATER*

School is over and MayMay didn't go to any of her classes. MayMay where are you?!

"We looked everywhere and Ate May is no where to be found!" Kisses said

"If anything happens to Ate May you're gonna get it Barber" Marco said, and I could tell that he was serious because he used my last name.

"Oh my gosh, Tita Lorna just texted, Ate May is home and she came crying daw and now she's asleep" Yong said and they all looked at me

"What did you do?!" Aizan exclaimed and I just sighed

"Can we just go to MayMay first?" I asked and they just sighed and nodded their heads
