I walked through the thick brush until I stopped at the edge of a massive clearing. At this point, I'd only read about this. But he was here, I could sense him. Though he'd been asleep for decades, the scent of the mutt was still strong. I knelt down and put my hand to the earth. The pulse was weak, but it was there. A wicked smile crossed my face.
"Soon, my friend. You will be free in time," I said as I stood up.
