Chapter 16

It has been a week since the incident with Nayeon's mother and unfortunately the girls cant seem to contact Jeongyeon after that. They dint even see her around campus and started to get worried. None of them knew about the thing that happened except for Jeongyeon herself so they have no clue what had happened to Jeongyeon and where was she.

"UNNIE !!!"

"OMG ! STOP SHOUTING PARK JIHYO! I CAN HEAR YOU!!"

"Opps ~ sorry unnie its just that i have somethings to ask you."

"What is it ?"

"Have you talked with Jeongyeon these past few days ?"

"Hmm ~ Nope."
"The last time i talked to her was last week.Why ?"

"Shit..."

"Hey , watch your language."
"What happened anyway?"

"Did you fight with her the last time you both talked ?"

"I dont remember fighting with her.."

"Well, its just that she has been missing for a week now."
"We dint see her around campus and she aint picking up our calls. We were afraid that something might have happened to her."

"WHAT ?!?!?!"

"Ouch ! Don't shout!"

"Why are you only telling me this now ?!?!"

"I'm sorry okay ?"
"The girls are still trying to locate where she is. I'll update you if we got anything."

"Ok. Update me ASAP!"

"Yes unnie ~ I will."

(Nayeon's POV)

What's happening ? Why do i have a bad feeling about this ? Please be safe Jeongyeon ah ~ I cant afford to lose you again. 

I was so lost into my thoughts that i dint even notice that my brother came back from work and was already sitting next to me on the couch.

"When did you came back ?" I asked him because i clearly did not remember him coming back. "Umm ~ When you were busy pacing back and fro infront of the TV ?" he answered casually. I just stared at him before he spoke again. "What you thinking sis ? It looks like something serious?" Should i tell him ? Well, if there is one person who would listen to my problems that would be my brother. "Its about Jeongyeon..." I started and he turned around to look at me. "What about Jeongyeon ?  Did you guys fight again ?" he asked with a chuckle but i just shook my head. "Jihyo called me earlier saying that Jeongyeon has been missing for a week now. She dint attend her classes as well." I said while resting my head on the couch headrest and staring at the ceiling. "Maybe she just wants sometime to herself ? Have you tried calling her ?" my brother asked. "I did. I've been trying to reach her for the past hour but she aint picking up." I said with a sigh. My brother did not answer me so i lifted my head and saw him messaging someone. "Who are you messaging ?" i asked while trying to take a look at his phone. "Mark." he said without looking at me. "Your boyfriend back in Seoul?" i asked again. "Yeah.." he answered still looking at his phone. "What are you asking him ? I thought you two broke up ?" I asked and he finally looked up at me. "Just like you and Jeongyeon. Mum never agreed to our relationship when she first found out and we were forced to break up, but i guess our love was strong enough to overcome this obstacle and we got back together." he said with a smile. "Aww~ You're so whipped bro ! HAHAHAHAH" i said and immediately regretted it because he just hit me in the head. "Ouch! WHAT WAS THAT FOR ?" i screamed at him although i already knew why. "That was for teasing me." he said with a smirk. "Fine ! but what are you messaging him ?" i asked while rubbing my head and leaning closer to him. "As i've told you. I've been through the things you are going through now with Mark and i think i know where is Jeongyeon. So i'm asking Mark to help me locate her exact location." he said and looked down to his phone again. So... If my brother has been through the same thing as i am going through now... What does that have to do with Jeongyeon missing ?

"What do you mean ?" i asked looking at him. "OMG ... Why is my sister so stupid...." he said under his breath but i manage to hear it. "Who's stupid ?!" i said while hitting his arm and he burst out laughing while ruffling with my hair. "I think mum is behind this." he said after he finished laughing.

"WHHAAAATTTT?!" i screamed at him and he just covered his ears. "Stop shouting !" he screamed back. Breath Nayeon, breath.... After calming myself down i asked again. " What do you mean mum is behind this?" "Remember when i told you mum called me last week ?" he asked and i nodded "Well it seems that the next day mum went to look for Jeongyeon at your dorm." he paused and i nodded for him to continue "and after the talk, the same night someone asked to see Jeongyeon and after that Jeongyeon never went back to the dorm anymore." He said. Finally , pieces started to click in. The person who asked to see Jeongyeon is my mum.

"I'm going back to Seoul."
