Chapter 1: Mysterious woman

I woke in excruciating pain and yelled loudly and my body lurched up. "Shh, stay still or you'll make it worse," the woman's soft voice said. I felt my whole body shaking violently some more," what the hell are you doing to me?" I exclaimed. The woman held me down with unbelievable strength. She seemed to be sucking the life out of me, and I was lurching violently.
I fought her off with as much strength as I could," stop, I am trying to help you." I felt a sense of calmness float through me and I knew she had powers. "Who are you?" I asked. She relaxed some and sent some easing power through me to ease the pain. "This isn't how I imagined we would be reunited." I felt relaxation but I couldn't see a damn thing, how can I be so calm when i'm blind? "What are you doing to me?" I felt my body ache as the pain traveled through me while I felt a small air flow over me as if a wave of a hand. "It saddens me you don't recognize your own mother's voice," she says. Mother? "My mother is gone!" I say shaking in rage but think twice when more pain invades my body. "I see, is that what he told you? So i'm dead to him now? Let me." I feel wind flow over my eyes and my vision blurs slowly and soon a woman comes into view with a heart shaped face with blue eyes and white hair, like mine. Is she really my mom? For the first time in forever I felt something for someone more then myself and I actually got emotional.."It's really you?"

"Isn't it beautiful Gage?" My mommy whispers. I smile at the beautiful white shell and trace the smooth surface. I look up at her and give my toothy grin and she smiles brightly. Mama's so beautiful, "why don't we look for more?" She says and grabs my hand walking along the beach, the fresh air tingling my skin and the fresh sea salt smell invades my nose, I crinkle my nose. I look down in the white sand looking for more of mama's favorite sea shells. I smile as I think I find one and reach for it but it isn't a sea shell, I frown."What is it?" mama turns glancing at my hands. "I'm sorry, I thought it was your sea shell," I say. She takes it from my hands and examine it with a even bigger smile. "Oh darling, but it's so much more, it's mama's favorite sand dollar," she says in a gentle voice. I smile in excitement and laugh, mama loves this even more.

"Gage, are you with me?" She says. I nod and focus back in on her. I glanced around the room noticing Aiden resting on a futon. Where's Tie? "We don't have very much time, I need to tell you the truth before it's too late." What is she talking about? She isn't gonna leave me again is she? "What are you talking about, your leaving me again." I saw pain form in her eyes as she spoke." I'm taking the lethal shot away from you and putting it in me, it will kill me but I would do anything for you,son." I tried to get up but she held me back," No. I can't let you do that, I just met, " I said. She ran her fingers through my hair and smiled. "But that's not your decision, please let me do this for you." It's not like she's giving much of a choice, I have no say already. "I never wanted to leave you with him, but my powers brought danger to our doorstep; I did it to protect you both." My heart aches at the sadness in her eyes,"you must already realize that Anthony is not your father." I knew he couldn't possibly be my father, I have so many questions. "His name is Axel, you must find him." I felt the last of my pain fade and she grew weak and fell, I quickly sat up and caught her. "Eleanor," I hear Aidan say as he rushes to her side as I hold her. Tie walks in his face stuffed with chips and immediately swallows as he realizes the serious situation before him. "Eleanor, what happened?" he questions us throwing the chips aside. Aidan glares in his direction at how lightly he takes it and anger flares in me more. But I couldn't speak nor could I bring myself to move, it's as if I was back to my numb state before I met her. I grew cold as I held my mother's pale, cold body in my hands. I was a renewed selfish man.

A month later...

It was my first and only year in college, I needed a fresh start. The year had already begun and I was doing very well with keeping my grades up. And not slacking like the habit I had in high school. Usually, because I was bothered in high school by so many hot girls throwing themselves at me. But I wouldn't blame them, who can ignore this? Don't get me wrong they still do though not as much, but with my pupils being greyish-white, it frightens them. I know what some of you may think though, you still wouldn't take a glance at me even with my eyes being back to my normal sky blue. But that's where you're wrong, you have to admit I am breathtakingly hot. Originally, like I mentioned my eyes are sky blue and I do miss them and everything with that. Aiden interrupted my thoughts by approaching me in the hallway.
