All Lies and No Fun

I lay down with the white sheets covering my body and I instantly feel regret, this was not part of my plan this was not how it was supposed to be. He wraps his arms around me and kisses my temple

"This is how its meant to be, us." 

His kisses are cold, his hands are cold and it sends a shiver down my body. I shake my head and push him off me and get out of the now messy bed

"This was a mistake, this shouldn't of happened" 

I start to grab my clothes and began to dress myself with my back facing him holding myself together 

"Come on, you can't fight it anymore princess we can finally be together" 

"DONE CALL ME THAT." I shout and he lies there with his hands behind his head a smirk on his face 

"Im not that same little girl anymore" 

He stands up out of the bed and put his white Calvin Klein underwear back on 

"Think about it, it could be me, you and her all one happy family"

"Stay away from me and stay away from her, she's not yours" 

He laughs and began to put on some tracksuit bottoms and walks over to me, she places a h

"You really don't want to play with the big boys Riley" 

He stands now with his hands on his hips, glaring towards me

"Please, your threats don't worry me your broke and soon you will have nothing"

I watched him closely as he ran his hand through his dark grey hair laughing at me

"Don't play with the big boys its a situation you don't wanna get yourself in" 

I find my clothes and start to get dressed with my back towards him rushing to try get out of there 

"This was a mistake, a mistake I should have never of made" 

I watch him closely as he leans against a set of drawers with a smirk on his face

"I know a lot more than you think princess"

"DONE CALL ME THAT" 

I shout across the room and glare at him. I quickly grab my bag and storm out of the bedroom, he chases down the stairs after me. 

"She's half of me Riley don't do this your making me resort to other options that I don't wanna do" 

I ignore him talking and continue to fix myself in the mirror and flatten my dress down and tie my hair in a low pony blocking out the words that are coming out of his mouth. 

"She needs a real mother too look after her and give her a better quality of life than you can give her"

Before I knew I slapped him hard across his face, I could feel the sting in my hand and the tears starting to well up in my eyes. He touched his cheek with his hands and his eyes turned a shade of dark that I have never seen before. 

"I am a good mother the best, I was there for her when you left. Im the only family she has now and we... she doesn't need you" 

I turn around walk out the door and slam it behind me. My legs feel like jelly and I feel like I'm gonna burst out into tears but I need to hold it in until I get home. I had made a  mistake a huge one I didn't and shouldn't have slept with him, it just happened so quickly. I rush out of his apartment and practically run down the drive way trying to escape with the tears rushing down my cheeks. I wasn't a bad mother and who the hell is he to judge me when he hasn't been around the last 8 years or seen the most important times of Hope's life.
