The Player's Dare

Chapter 6

Lexa slowly opened her eyes, just to find herself to be in bright white room. She can feel someone lying their head on her arm so she moved it a bit to wake the person up."Lexa! Are you okay?"Lexa nodded but can't seem to figure out where and why she there in that kind of place. "You're in the hospital .The doctor said you just sprained your wrist so it's not too bad." Princess explained to lexa. And the it hit her!
"Where's Jun, Princess?!?" She abruptly asked. Princess looked down and kept quiet for a few seconds. "princess!" "He's been in a surgery for a couple of hours now." princess said quietly. Lexa felt like she was dying. Her heart ached at the thought of Jun getting hit by a car instead of her. And before she knows it, she ran to the operating room, with princess calling out to her, telling her to slow down. Lexa ignored her and continued running. When she got there, she saw all of Jun's friends there waiting, with worried looks on their faces. They noticed Lexa was there and stood up.
"How is he?" Lexa asked no one in particular.
 

Some of them shook their heads, and Lexa collapsed and princess finally caught up and caught her in time. She helped Lexa to take a seat. Lexa can't help but shed into tears. She covered he face with her hands and she felt Princess rubbing her back trying to calm her down, but she can't calm down!
"It's my fault. It's all my fault!" Lexa blamed herself. "If I hadn't been so stupid and just say what I want to say to him there, I wouldn't have been standing there in the middle of the road. He wouldn't have needed to save me. Jun wouldn't have gone hit if it wasn't because of me!" Lexa kept sobbing and blaming herself. Princess felt so at fault here, because she was there. She was there when Lexa told Jun that she will never be friends with him because of her. She was there when Jun confessed to Lexa but because of her, Lexa can't admit her feelings because she dismissed want to hurt her. She was there when the car was coming with horns beeping. She was there when Jun saved Lexa. But Princess understood. She understood that Jun wasn't that mind of guy that will hurt Lexa. She finally trusted Jun. But she hopes that she wasn't too late to realize that.
 

"Lexa. I'm sorry." Princess stated, which surprised lexa and the others. "What are you saying, Princess? This is my fault." Lexa asked in betweend her sobs."No, Lexa. This was because of me." Princess continued. "I was being too selfish. Too selfish from keeping you from him. I didn't want you to get hurt, so I told you my story just for you to stay away from him. I didn't know that you avoiding him because of me, would get to this point." Lexa listened carefully but still isn't getting what she exactly meant. "What are you saying, Princess?""I'm saying, that you should go tell him what you feel." Princess put her hands on Lexas shoulders and looked into her eyes. "I don't want you to hold back your feelings anymore because of me. We all know how that turned out. To turn this around, is to let out your feelings. By the way that he saved you back there, tells me he loves you. Truly."

  The surgery went successful as the doctors said, but they were some possibilities that something else happened to Jun.
 

Lexa, princess, Jun's friends and the doctor were there in the hospital room of Jun, waiting for him to wake up. And he did. "How are you feeling Jun?" the doctor asked. Jun just nodded."Where am I?" Jun asked slowly, examining the room he was in and who was in it. "You're at the hospital. You got hit by a car, remember?" Heon answered.
"Oh right." Jun said, still examining the people who were there, and his eyes met with Lexa's, who was just a couple of steps away form his bed he was lying in.
"Who... are you?" Jun asked with an emotionless voice. Everyone was startled by that question, especially who he was talking to. "Hmm.. That's what I was afraid of." the doctor said, then looked at Lexa. "He has amnesia." Lexa felt as if her world just fallen apart. She felt so broken. Also, right at the time when she was ready to tell him her feelings. She can't help but feel so helpless in her situation. The only thing she can think of is run away.
