The Player's Dare

Chapter 7

Lexa took heavy steps to school. She was dreading to go to school today. When she got there, she saw Jun's friends, waiting for something. Turns out it was her. They approached her and Sean said, "We'll help you, Lexa." But Lexa was just confused. "We have a plan on how to get Jun to remember you." Heon continued. "How?" was the only thing Lexa can say. "By reacting the memories you and Jun had." they said in unison. Heon came forward and whispered something in Lxa's ear and even though Lexa doesn't quite like it, but she has to do it. "Here he comes." Sean warned looking behind Lexa. Lexa heartbeats got faster as she turned around and saw him.
"Jun!" Lexa called out to him and Jun looked around to see Lexa and his friends coming towards him. Students got intrigued so they started to watch what was going to happen. Jun waited in his spot. Eyes locked on the one who called his name. "Do you want to go out with me?" Lex asked with full confidence. Audible gasps can be heard all a round them. Jun in the other hand was not that surprised but was still quite in shock. But he knew what to say.
 

"No. I don't." Then he walked away, but he can get the feeling that this was a déjà vu to him. Why is that? he thought. Lexa and Jun's Friends were left there, but they weren't so surprised that that was his answer. "I think that went good." Lexa broke the silence, and surprised the others. "How is that good?" Heon spoke feeling unbelievable that she thinks that. "Because.." she looked at them and continued, "that's what I said to him, when he asked me the same exact question." Lexa smiled widely and she finally saw a glimpse of hope with Jun. She feels like she's being given a chance again to confess.
