Morgan and I walked down stairs.
"Dang, it takes you a long time to change out of wet clothes." Conor said.
"I wouldn't have been wet if you wouldn't have done a stupid dare."
"Tori picked dare not me."
"You're an idiot." Morgan said.
"Thank you!" I said. Ryan walked in.
"What's goin on?" He asked.
"Were talking about how Conor is an idiot." Morgan said.
"Oh." He said.
"Dude, your not even going to stick up for me?"
"I can't argue with the truth." The three of us laughed.
"You okay?" Ryan looked at me.
"Yeah. I guess I over reacted.
"You guess?" Conor said. I glared at him.
"You know what? You come with me." Morgan said.
"I'm not goin anywhere with you." Morgan sighed.
"I can't believe your making me do this." Morgan grabbed Conor by the ear and dragged him away.
"Ow, ow, ow, ow, ear! Please let go! Please let go!" Conor pleaded.
"Your friends are kind of scary." Ryan said.
"They learn from the best."
"I guess they do." We were silent for a minute.
"You wanna go out on the porch and talk?" He asked.
"Sure. I'll meet you out there."
"Okay." He walked out the front door and closed the door behind him. I walked into the kitchen where everyone else was.
"So when are we getting back to the game?" Spencer asked.
"I don't know." I replied. I looked at the clock. 2:30.
"Everyone meet in the living room at 3:00 and we'll start the game back up." Everyone agreed. Morgan looked at me and I gave her the look of follow me. I walked out of the kitchen and into the hallway, Morgan following me she closed the kitchen door.
"What's goin on?"
"I'm going to go talk to Ryan outside on the porch. Will you hold the fort down again?"
"Absolutely." She smiled at me.
"Thanks."
"Everything okay?"
"We'll see."
I turned around and walked down the hallway into the front room and walked out the front door and stood in the doorway. He was siting in my favorite spot on the porch. We had so many memories there. It's the spot where he first kissed me. That's my favorite memory. I was 15 and just waiting for him to do it. It was after school and we were going to study together which really didn't make any sense since we were in two different grades but we used any excuse to hang out. I had the porch swing pulled down so it was more like a bed we were laying on our stomachs next to each other with our books spread all over the place. I remember I had my hair down that day it's always been so long so I didn't usually have it down. I was working on my English paper he was working on geometry. I saw him all of a sudden stop and look at me but I kept on writing like I didn't notice him stop.
"Maddie?" My heart started racing.
"Yes?" I said still writing and not looking at him.
"Never mind." He said. Crap I thought lost my chance. I put my pencil down.
