John's Pov

Everyone began to grow restless in the cramped van.

"Are we there yet?" Laf complained, looking out of the window.

"Just five more minutes..." Alex groaned, taking a sip of coffee.

Alex was practically vibrating. He had consumed at least twenty cups of coffee today, and his little plastic bag 'Coffee Cup Landfill' or whatever, was beginning to over flow.

I sighed, looking out of my window. Then, something caught my eye. I started to squint, trying to get my vision to focus.

I then gasp, excitement flooding my eyes.

"What is it now, John?" Alex asked me, clearly concerned over my sudden excitement. James glanced over to his window.

"TURTLE EXHIBIT!" I practically screeched out. I continued to scream, jumping up and down in my seat like a two year old.

Thomas woke up with a startle, breathing heavily.

"What the actual hell, John?!"

Alex, Laf, and Herc proceeded to laugh together. James and Burr along chuckling quietly.

"Don't ruin his moment, Thomas," Aaron giggled, placing a hand over his mouth to muffle out the sound.

"But! But- but he just scared the shit out of me!" Thomas grumbled grumpily, crossing his arms and pouting like a five year old.

Meanwhile, I was begging Alex to pull over to the welcome center.

He sighed, he couldn't take any more of my bullcrap.

"Fine, but ya gotta hurry. Our flight will take off in about 2 hours. I refuse to be late."

"Yay! Thank you so much, Lexi! I love you!"

Alex began to chuckle as I pecked him on the cheek.

---

At least an hour had passed, and I came out of the turtle exhibit grappling three huge bags, all filled with turtle merchandise.

My face beamed with joy, my toes lifting me up and down as I mentally squealed. Satisfied.

Laf looked over at me, quietly giggling.

"Like i said, you carry yourself with the grace of a two year old."

I huffed in annoyance, pouting like the two year old I apparently was.

Alex soon approached me, his soft smile plastered on his face.

"So... I see someone had a good time."

"Yeah! I even got to buy turtle-themed clothes!" I exclaimed out happily, pulling out a turtle beanie in the process, the words 'I <3 turtles' printed out in white thread located at the side of his beanie. He also pulled out a golden turtle necklace, wrapping it around his neck, smiling.

"Yo!" James called out from the van, sniffling. "You ready to get going?"

Alex gave a thumbs up, waving his hands over to James.

James got the message, and momentarily sneezed.

"Bless you!"

"Thank you..." he sniffled.

"Okay, John. Let's go, now. It's ten 10:00, and mind you, our flight leaves at 12:00."

"Oh, then we better get goin' then!"

And so, I packed all of my bought stuff into the back of the trunk, practically stuffing it with the turtle tank. I flashed a smile at both of my turtles, a grin creeping up my face while I stared at my babies for seven seconds before Alex called me over to the front seat so we could get to the airport.

(Lol, another time skip, brought to you by lazy author, aND BROUGHT TO YOU BY RAMEN NOODLES. because I think ramen noodles are amazing and they must be sponsored and yEAH YOU GET IT ON TO THE STORY!)

"Ah, fuckin' traffic..." Alex whispered to himself, honking the horn impatiently.

"Fricken- GO ALREADY!

Alexander had snapped, he was literally finished with everything and everyone.

Laf was currently doing some gay mushy shit with Herc, Thomas was blasting songs from his playlist titled "Songs to annoy Alex", James and Aaron were betting on who would get shit on by seagulls once we stumble across a beach, and I was rubbing circles around Alex's back, trying to help him cope with everything.

Alex repeatedly slammed his head onto the steering wheel, making the horn honk in a timed pattern.

he was aggravated, stressed.

I couldn't take seeing Alex looking so tired and done. I mean, he always looks tired and dead inside, but this level of tired? It looked almost painful.

"Hey, Lexi... Do you want me to take over?"

Alex shook his head, his eyes still glued to the car in front of him.

"No, I'm fine, Jacky... Thank you for the offer, though... I'm glad you care about me..."

"Of course I care about you, Lex... I love you, and I'll always be there to pull you out of a tough situation."

We shared a short kiss before the traffic had finally cleared off.

---

Five minutes had passed, and we were finally inside of the airport.

Alex was relieved, he nuzzled his nose against mine, lightly pecking me on the lips.

We all had hauled our luggage, inspected them, went through other processes, and seated somewhere, waiting for our flight to arrive.

Surprisingly, we had arrived thirty minutes early.

The Schuyler Sisters soon showed up, joining us to wait for our flight.

"I never thought I would actually make it this far into the journey..." Alex whispered under his breathe, rubbing his eyes tiredly.

"Well, you did it... And I'm proud of you, Lex. I love you..."

"Heh... I love you too, Johnny..."

We shared another kiss, until the airport announced through the speakers to board flight 267.

That was when we pulled apart and headed over to our plane, hand in hand.

This was really a long day, and I couldn't wait to bored the plane and get to France.

Omigosh, I'm not dead, what a surprise! Yeah, no. I've finally got passed exam week, and I feel as free as a bird! I entered the school building as a 7th grader, and I exit the school as an idiot. It was such an amazing feeling, lol. Aaaaanyway, I'm finally on summer break, which means...
