John's Pov

"Great..." Alex muttered, looking at the picture one last time before looking away.

Peggy tilted her head in confusion. "Where'd he find two little kids?"

"I have no idea, but they all said to meet them by the Eiffel tower. They said they would explain everything there."

"Right, let's go."

Eliza's Pov

"So, what might your names be, little ones?"

The small girl hid behind the small freckled boy, whimpering slightly. The small boy shook his head, mumbling something to himself before looking back at me and the others.

"Well, simple question. My name's Philip. And this is Theodosia..."

The little girl behind Philip waved shyly, clutching on to Philip's arm.

"Hey, kid," Herc chuckled, "Calm down. We don't bite."

Angelica nodded, "Yeah, you're safe. you're with us now!"

Philip and Theodosia glanced at each other before looking at us.

"Um, how can we be so sure about that..?"

"Oh, well-"

"Hey, guys!" Aaron greeted, making Theodosia and Philip jump in surprise. "Now, care to explain why you let two scrawny children on board?"

"Whoa, there. Easy now. You're scaring them both."

Philip puffed out his chest, eyeing me.

"I am not scared of you guys! I've handled much tougher guys myself!"

"You know that's a lie, Pip..." Little Theo whispered to Philip, him rolling his eyes in return.

"Yeah, well, lying gets you out of almost every situation."

I watched as Theo puffed out her cheeks, causing me, Peggy, and Angie to chuckle at how adorable they were.

Alex shoved his shoulder gently against John's.

"I like this kid already."

The squad just chuckled.

Burr sighed, shaking his head. "So, anyway... care to explain what's going on?"

"Well, sit down, because you're in for a long story."

Little Philip's Pov

"So, let me get this straight..." The large man wearing a beanie said gruffly, "A guy named King and his gang tried to kidnap you both? But, why?"

"We're not sure, we j-just wanted food."

Theo nodded her head along with my statement.

The girl dressed in yellow gave us a look of pity. "Wow, you guys must have been through a ton!.."

"Yeah, and your parents must be so worried!"

Theo and I looked at each other, Theo sighing and looking down sadly.

"Speaking of parents," The lady dressed in pink started, "Where are they?"

Theo and I stayed silent, before looking at her.

"Well, um... We-we don't..." Theo stuttered, tears brimming her eyes.

"We don't have parents."

The group shot us a look of pity, looking at each other.
