In the way that I like you.And I don't think we can be

But this repetition is getting lame.Now we have grown too far apart
It's like there's this tangible wedgeTelling, I'll never have your heart
And we will fall over the edge.Saying it's only temporary
And and who else is to blame?All that I see is me
Growing to detest your nameWhile hoping you will realize,
That it's only one bat,That's right before your eyes
Wanting to know where your heart is really at.
