Every Saturday, Taehyung and Y/N liked to watch reruns of comedy skits. They cuddled up in bed with bowls of popcorn and candy, treating themselves as they laughed their heads off. It was the best way to spend a night together, making it as happy as possible because they hardly got to see each other.
"This guy is so funny," He said, shoving gummy worms into his mouth.
"I'm way funnier," Y/N teased, making a silly face and earning a laugh from Tae.
"Oh, totally," He teased.
Y/N sat back and watched the show, laughing along with Tae. They then got a notification, seeing that their sibling was calling. They sat up straight and paused the tv. They had hardly spoken to their sibling much recently, and knew they didn't know of Tae, although they had been dating for months at this point. They just hadn't been in touch because of both of their jobs.
"(Sibling's name)!" Y/N said happily as they answered. They put the call on speaker, even though Taehyung had no intention of speaking.
"(Y/N!) ," Y/N's sibling said. "I know we haven't spoken for a bit, but I wanted to invite you to Minseo's birthday party this Saturday. He's five this year and would love to see his aunty," They said.
"I'd love to come," Y/N said.
Y/N glanced over at Tae, but he was too busy fiddling with his sleeves. They heard a child's voice in the background of the call, and (Sibling's name) say something to him.
"Min is here now, can I facetime you?" They asked. Y/N nodded and Tae scooted over to try and be out of the shot.
"Hi Minseo!" Y/N said as they appeared on screen.
"Hi aunty! Will you come see me for my birthday?"
"Of course I will" Y/N said.
I noticed (Sibling's name) quirk their head a bit.
"Who's that?" They asked; Y/N looked to the screen and saw that Taehyung's shoulder was in the frame.
"Oh," Y/N laughed nervously. "Taehyung, my boyfriend," They said.
Tae looked over at Y/N with wide eyes and leaned further away. Y/N just gave him a smile and nod, turning the camera to him. He gave a nervous smile and tried hiding his face before giving up and looking to the screen.
"Kim Taehyung," He introduced to Y/N's sibling.
"Taehyung, I hope to see you this weekend, too!" Y/N's sibling said.
"Of course," He said weakly, throwing a smile.
"Well we will see you later," My sibling said before hanging up the call.
"Oh goodness, I don't think they liked me very much," Taehyung freaked.
"I don't think that's true, but even if so, they'll have to get used to you, because you're not going anywhere," Y/N smiled, pecking his lips.
"Oh alright," He blushed, nuzzling back into them.
They went back to their comedy show and sugary snacks, but every once in a while, Tae would ask for advice on how to impress their sibling. It was the cutest thing ever.
"Oh, no.. then I have to meet your parents!" He said, shaking almost.
"You'll be fine," Y/N laughed, thankful he cared about meeting my family. It gave me hope that he was in this for the long run
