As Link and Zelda stood up to get Epona and Storm, they were both deep in thought. link was wondering what exactly had happened to him to make him act like that. Zelda was wondering what the heck happened to link to make him act like that! They were both quiet untill Zelda spoke up. "So, i was wondering...." She hesitated and sighed. "I was wondering if you wanted to ride throughout hyrule field and closer to zoras domain, instead of death mountain... since its summer and all..." Link noded. He wanted to ask what her origional question was, but he decided not to push the subject. If she didn't want to ask, she didn't want to ask. Zelda smiled happily at the fact that he agreed. They got their horses from the stables, and started to head out. They snuck out of the stable, and past the guards. Untill they got to the gate, that is. The front guard caught them, but zelda was smart. She quickly thought of an excuse. "Princess Zelda. Why are you leaveing the castle?!" The guard scolded. Link wanted to tell him off and yell at him for scolding the princess. But he didnt. He stayed silent. He didnt know why he wanted to yell. It was mean. He didnt want to be mean. "We were going to help mallon and tallon. They called us in earlyer to help train storm more." Zelda quickly stated. "I see. Forgive me princess. You may pass." The guard said as he bowed. Zelda noded and walked out as link followed timidly. He was almost scared of himself. Why would he ever want to yell at someone? "Link? Is everything alright?" Link was snapped out of his thoughts and nodded. Zelda shrugged it off. Hes probably just thinking of a mission, or a fight. Something like that. He tryed to remain in the real world. It was difficult, But he managed. As he and zelda got on their horses, He noticed something. There was a wierd figure in the crowd. They were wearing a hood for some reason. Why where they wearing a hood in the middle of the crowd? Are they trying to stand out? Or fit in? Whatever they where doing, they were acting suspicious, and link wasnt haveing it. He kept his eye on the scetchy figure, untill he and zelda got out of the town. Once they were beyond the town walls, they raomed free. It was relaxing. it was a calming ride. Well..... it WAS a calming ride. The cloaked figure from town was watching them. Waiting for them. Waiting for the right moment to strike. Zelda had just distracted link with a flower called the silent princess. It was a rare flower that could only survive in the wild. This was the perfect moment. He walked up to them. He was compleatly silent. His feet made no sound as they glided through the grass. His breath was silent. As if it wasn't even there. His cloak left no trace when it draged over the grass. Link didn't know he was there until it was to late. The hooded mad took a rock, and threw it straight at links head. It wasn't enough to knock him out, but it did cause him to fall off his horse, and it messed up his vision. He held his head, trying to focus his vision. Zelda screamed. She ran to link to try and help him up, but he couldn't stay balanced enough to stand. She tryed as best she could to carry him, but she didnt want to make it worse by moveing him around. She turned around to look for the figure, but he was gone. He turned back to link..... He was gone to...... "HOW DOES LINK GET HIMSELF INTO THIS STUFF!!!!????" she yelled at the top of her lungs. She sighed in frustration and raced back to the castle. She had to get link back from the hooded man.
