He he..... totaly didnt forget this story existed..... hehe... *cough cough*...... ANYWAY! IM BACK! HERE WE GOOOOOOOOOO!! ----------------------------------------------------------------Previous
"Where are we going?" link asked. "Youll see." Zelda replyed with a small smirk. Link chuckled. He shuged and followed zelda down the hall.
Now.
Zelda hummed a slight tune as they made there way around the winding halls. And as soon as they turned the last corner, link was caught off guard by the smell of cookies. "The kitchen?" link said, more in the form of a question then a statement. Zelda nods with a smile. "You just had what seems to be a realy bad nightmare. you need cookies, coco, and a fun story." And with that, zelda dissappeared into the kitchen. "Go wait in the liveing quarters." She adds as she pops her head out of the kitchen, for a split second. Link nods and does as hes told, heading to a comphy couch, and sitting down. He sat and chilled for a while, waiting for zelda to come back in. "Man. Im so tired." Link thought to himself. "Mabey i can just rest my eyes?" he fineshed. He slowly closed his eyes. But the second his eyes lids closed, he saw them. Those horrible red eyes. Just stareing at him. He was terrafyed. He was frozen. He couldnt even open his eyes, out of fear that the glowing red ones would still be stareing back. He was so dazed that he didnt hear zelda come in. "hehehe. he must be asleep again." She told herself. That is... untill she noticed links pained expression. "link?" she asked quietly. Link gave the smallest wimper in reply. Zelda came over quickly and gently shook him, from what she thought was a dream turned nightmare. "Link. Link, wake up." He slowly opened his eyes, hopeing to no longer see the blood red orbs, stereing into her deep purple ones. A wave of relief washed over him when he only saw the calming purple of zeldas eyes. He stared for a second, as if expecting her eyes to change into the frightening red ones he had seen moments before. no such thing happened. The calming blue stayed just that. Blue. He only looked away when she turned to her side, picking up the fresh hot beverage she had prepared for him. He gladly took it with a smile as he took a sip of the still steaming hot chocolate. The scalding heat on his already sore throught burned terrably, but he didnt care. In fact, he was so distracted by his own thoughts, that he didnt even notice. He was to worried about those eyes. Those cold evil eyes. If looks could kill, he would be six feet under. He didnt notice zeldas worried look. He didnt notice her slowly scooting closer to him. He didnt notice her voice tinged with worry. He didnt even notice the hand placed on his shoulder untill it gave a squeaze. The sudden slight tinge of pain was what brought him back to reality. He looked up to meet zeldas worry filled eyes. He was confused at the worry that laced her features. Whats wrong? He signed, unable to find his voice, and not wanting to talk anyway. She kepts gazeing at him with worry filled eyes. He opened his mouth to speak when zelda gasped, covering her mouth with a gloved hand. Zel- he was cut off by zeldas soft voice breaking the silence. "Link. Y-your eyes..." she said, voice waivering. His face filled with horror as he bolted out of the room, ducking into the first bathroom he came across, seemingly after running down the twisting hall for forever (*cough cough* excuse my dear evan Hansen reference!) He slamed the door shut, locking it quickly. He felt tears prick his eyes as he stared into his reflection in horror. His eyes were a dark red. He watched as the color drained from his face. His tunic faded to harsh blacks and greys instead of the bright forest greens and soft tans that belonged there. He saw his reflections lits slowly form into a twisted smirk. "I knew you would become me." It whispered. It was his voice... only darker. Evil almost. It was warped to a soft echo that sent chills down his back. He could faintly hear a muffled shout calling his name. Telling him to wake up. To wake up? Was he not awake? "Link please! Wake up! Your scareing me!" He could understand it now. It was zelda. He was scareing zelda. He clenches his eyes with a soft whimper, covering his ears as the warped whisper wss amplified. "Your becomeing me. You'll become me. Your me." He could feel tears streaming down his cheeks as a hand grabbed his shoulder. His eyes shot open and he gasped, shooting up, now back on the couch. He looked around frantically, before looking down, calming at the bright forest green of his tunic. His shoulders slumped and he put his face in his hands. "L-link?" He softly heard zeldas voice. He shakily noded in responce. "Are you okay?" She asked, keeping a hand on her shoulder. He noded again, less shakey this time. "Are you sure?" He noded a third time. "....okay..." she whispered with her head down. He looked over slightly. She had a slightly frightened expression. "What was it about?" She asked quietly, barely above a whisper. He tenced slightly. Before shakily signing it was about one of the enemys i faced in the water temple.... "she looked at him curiously. He sighed softly and began telling the story. "I was makeing my way through zoras domain when i finaly found the temple."
