Desmond returned to the apartment with the three assassins in tow. "You three don't understand this world-"

"This world full of unexplored possibilities!" Ezio stated, spreading his hands in attempt to help his explanation. Desmond rolled his eyes.

"Yes, maybe possibilities that you don't understand. I need to explain something to you guys, all of you." He rubbed his temples in annoyance, as Arno looked at the four men just now walking in. Desmond seemed to be in a pretty pissed off mood. Ezio was acting like a child wanting to go and explore this new world. Ataïr quietly walked in, before turning around, facing Desmond, and crossing his arms.

"Explain. Now." he growled, staring the assassin down, hard. Desmond put his hands up in defense.

"Alright, alright," he began, motioning for everyone to get comfortable. This was going to be a long story. "In 2007, the Templars came out with a videogame -something of our time- called "Assassin's Creed." I don't know why, but it exposed everything. From the beginning, the war between Assassin's and Templars, to kidknapping me and forcing me into the animus. It was a popular hit, and it exposed the Templars, the Brotherhood, and so on. For some reason, they exposed your every aspect, but barely anything about themselves, except for the fact that they're the bad guys. I don't know why they did it, but soon after, they came out with II, Brotherhood, Revelations, III, Black Flag, Rogue, Unity, Syndicate, and just recently, Origins. Ataïr, you belong in the first game, Ezio you belong in II, Brotherhood, and Revelations, although I do believe you have been taken from the middle of Brotherhood, judging by your outfit. Ratonhnhake:Ton, er, Connor, you belong in III, Edward, you're from Black Flag, Arno, you are from Unity, one of the most broken games I've ever experienced, and Evie, Jacob, your from Syndicate." It took a moment for the Assassins to let this sink in. It was Ezio who spoke up next.

"So, you're saying that we all aren't real!? But my entire life, from the beginning, my father, my mother, their deaths, I remember it all until now!" Desmond shook his head.

"No, that's not what I'm saying. I'm saying that the Brotherhood has been exposed, and the games are based around you guys. I was actually a bartender, I was actually kidnapped by Templars. I actually experienced the life of Ataïr, you, Connor, and Edward. My friends Shaun, Rebecca, and Lucy all helped me escape the Templars."

"But why would they do that?" Ataïr asked, sounding confused. "Make a... video game about us, but make themselves the bad guys? I do not understand that."

"It will be harder to hide in public," Evie surmised. She was pretty smart. "People know what we sound, and look like, so if we wear our normal outfits, people can recognize us easier. That makes sense now." She said, pacing the room. Ataïr seemed to understand it next.

"It took the Templars many years to do it, but they've been exposing the brotherhood for a while now. But why? Why expose us, and deem them as the bad guys? Who was it that wanted us here? Why would they do this in the first place?" He asked, looking at the other assassins in the small apartment. Why? That question burned through his head like no other. It was crazy.

"To rewrite history.." Desmond breathed, looking at the wall, staring off into the void. That's one of the reasons they wanted him in the animus. Not only to find the apple, but to rewrite history. "They're hoping to keep you guys here in this time, to erase history. To let the brotherhood fall. But my question is, why bring all of you, and not the one it truly started with?" Minerva had spoke to Desmond through Ezio, about destiny.

"The brotherhood was destined to come," Ezio said suddenly, looking up at the only man standing. "If it were not for whomever may have started, it still would have come. There can be no evil with no good. Yes, we aren't exactly what anyone would deem "perfect", but we do defy the evil in this world. It's why its balanced. We are two hidden forces, fighting all the time, because we are the yin and the yang. Yes, we do have "bad ways" through our good that we do, and though the Templars are evil, they have good intentions, but will not succeed with them."
