"That doesn't explain everything!" Jak yelled.
"I know, I know... I visited you in prison, between the first and second year here." I shook my head, as Jak grew angry. "I had to kill the rest of the survivors... I didn't know why I did before, but if I did I had to." I mumbled in truth. "I can't change the future, or the past. So I left you guys alone, when I tried to come back I went to the bar... you guys, were happy." I told as I felt unnerved by the situation.
"But you... could've stayed."
"I had nothing there... sure friends but no love life, no job, and a lot waiting here." I gestured around, smiling. "I became a hero! I felt important! I saved the city from metal heads... marauders... even a monster from the sea!" I smiled, having getting excited for speaking my adventure. "I feel home here."
"But we're the closes thing to your real home... our real home." Daxter looked up to me with a frown.
"This is my home..." I crossed my arms, grudgingly looking away with the narrowed eyes. "I feel... better when I'm away from you guys. We're not meant to be friends. Besides, you have Keira." I added, getting angry myself as Jak's ear rose up in shock. "I'm in control of how I feel."
"What does Keira have to do with this."
"Nothing, enough of this!" I shouted, stomping my foot. "I've been here longer than you, I'm eighteen now and I grew more since I met you." I waved it off. "Now it's time for your repayment to the city."
"What city?" Daxter asked.
"The Wastelander's city, the city of Spargus!" I shouted, rising my hand into the air and clutching my fist. "You will commit a vicious battle inside of the arena, everyone has to prove their worth here, and I have no idea what happened to you and that you're so you're going to have to own up to what you are now and show everybody here who you are." I warned, pulling out my medals from inside of the ring. "I earned these by killing them all."
"What?" Jak raised an eyebrow.
"Tear off your sleeves, it's too hot here for that attire here." I warned, he seemed confused. Slouching over, and rolling my eyes; I decided to try an easier approach to them both. "You have to fight for your life, but if you fail any of the three trails you're gonna get kicked out of here and you can die in the desert." I rolled my eyes, as they finally understood what I said.
"That's harsh."
"As the King says here... you're either useful, or you're dead weight." I mumbled, as they nodded. "You have to get feed, and properly prepared so you're gonna have to come with me." I nodded, as they looked at each other as if I was leading them to a phone strap and trying to do some wrong to them. "Com'on, you're my trainees today."
