It All Started With A Bet

The Long Night

So I decided to call the person who could talk me through this or atleast to sleep . So I picked up the phone and dialed and surprisingly .... He picked up.

"You should be resting. It's quite late." I said softly ,not wanting to wake anyone. "Such a hypocrite." He said jokingly and that made me laugh a bit.

Patrick always knew how to cheer me up . It was his thing. "So..... what's up ? How was the date with Mr.Bio?"

"It was stupendous. The best date ever." Sarcarm laced the sentence.And we both laughed. Then I told him what all happened.

"Kinky. You do realise all this is very 50 Shades ?" His voice concerned and sort of sceptical on what had happened. "Yeah."

"Okay so why you still up? Nothing happened that was bizarre or enough to make you lose sleep. You love sleeping. You live to sleep." He was amused at my situation and though It was annoying I was too tired to get mad.

"He texted. Said he has a huge day planned out for me."

"Do you know what's gonna happen? " He asked.

"No."

"Then why are you worrying about it. Let tomorrow come at least.And even if something goes up or down me and Liya are there for you. Plus according to me he seems like a pretty normal guy. Not the kind who'll kidnap you and cut your legs off."

"Why would you say that oh God. It's 3 am and all I am gonna be able to thing about is someone sawing my legs off. Thanks P. By the way why are you awake."

"Can't stop thinking about what all happened today. Jass, Rosche and then after you guys left my mom,scolded me for not taking care of myself. I know she cares and shit but she really let me have it. Then that anger got converted to anger on Jass, and how she told me that Jass wasn't worth my time or effort. I started tearing up. She hugged me and I started crying rivers.

So yeah was a chaotic night after you'll left. So I had a lot to think about. "

"You should really catch some rest. You have meds also to take." I wanted him to rest.

"I know. Well actually I am sorta tired . It was a relief to just talk for a while I'll see you tom morning. If you're late I am gonna leave you."

"No you won't. Cause I am awesome and you can't live without me."

"Yeah I can't Hale. So get your stupid ass to bed and let me also sleep. Goodnight."

"Goodnight Idiot."
I set the alarm on my phone and closed my eyes. And within no time I had drifted off.

Buzzzzz buzzzzz. Wake up . Buzzzzz buzzzzzz... 6.35.
Buzzzz.. buzzzzzz....

"Ady,Wake up. You're gonna be late if you don't move your butt."Tyler was yelling at me from the door.

He entered the room and got in the bed and shook me. I tried to scream at him. But he just kept shaking me. Then he pulled me out."What time did you sleep? You look like a vamp."

"Ughhh Ty, I just woke up. Let me be." I whined.

"Pat's gonna be here soon." He said and walked out the door. Ty's work started at 8.30 whereas school started at 7.30. Still he got up earlier than me and prepared breakfast. Real waste of good sleep if you ask me.

I freshened up , got ready and went down. On the stairs the aroma of a fresh breakfast hit. I could smell pancakes and chocolate syrup. Yeah that was it. As I descended the stairs I could see Ty wearing his 'The Grillfather' apron standing with forks.

"Don't you just love me right now? " he smiled ear to ear. "Yes I do. Now give me a fork." He handed me fork.

"Seriously tho Ady, what time did you sleep last night." He was looking straight at me and I knew I wouldn't be able to dodge. It's not like I didn't wanna tell him . It was just that he could become a little overprotective.

When me and Pat were just becoming friends , Ty thought we were dating. So once when Pat was over and made a joke about running away.. Ty glared at him so hard that Pat had a problem talking me to for the next few days.

It was hilarious but over time Ty realised that Pat's a friend and now they are buddies.

"I slept around....." Honkkkkkk.... Thank my lucky Stars in Heaven . "Got to go .... Tell you later Ty. Byee...." and I ran out the door as fast as I could. I could hear him screaming behind but I didn't wanna stop.

Once I was out the door I walked to the car. " Morning Adabelle."

"Morninggg... wow dude how do you sleep at 3 and still look so good whereas I look like I didn't sleep in weeks and I got dragged out of a garbage can!"

"Well cause I am awesome. Plus I have made myself accustomed to like 5 hours sleep whereas you my friend need 10 hours a day or else you start getting cranky."

'You do get cranky kitten.' His texts flashed to my mind and I just kept quiet.

"Lets go Patsy, drive." I whined and he revved the engine and we started off...

Well this chapter is just a filler since the next chapter is gonna be quite interesting.
