"Okay Goodnight Kitten" was the last thing I heard before I slept.
You know that feeling you get when you make a mistake, promise yourself you're not gonna do it again and then you do it again.
That feeling of irritation, where you want to scream at somebody but the only person who deserves it is you.
That's what I was feeling.
I fell asleep.... again.
It was morning all over again except this time I was woken up by the sound of the horn, a string of curses and a sharp swerve of the car.
" Who the hell gave you a license?" I cried out from the pain of being jolted awake.
"Well actually , I don't have one . " He said, laughing.
"WHAT? Stop the car right now. Randall stop the car. Stop it right now." He just kept laughing.
" Calm down Kitten, I am kidding."
I slapped his arm. When he feigned being hurt I hit him again.
"What was that for?" He asked pretending to be hurt.
I slapped his arm again , enjoying his expressions. Again he asked why , again I slapped , and this went on for five slaps.
Before I could hit the sixth he grabbed my wrist , looked into my eyes and said "Let's save it for the bedroom honey." And winked.
"Yuck." He left my hand and went back to looking at the road ahead. A wide cocky smile dancing on his lips.
We were about fifteen minutes from home when I got a call from Liya.
Adabelle: Hii
Liya: Where are you Ady? I came here like an hour back. Tyler is freaking. Your mom's also worried.
Adabelle: Oh shit. Did he say anything?
Liya: Nah not really. By the way, how far are you from home?
Adabelle : About fifteen.
Liya : Okay. Well hurry up..ByeNow I started freaking out again. Most probably I was already in for that dissapointed look. I sighed loudly. Randall hit the accelerator and zoomed on the streets and we reached in five.
I quickly got out of the car. I mumbled a loud 'Thanks for today' to Randall while running for my front door.
My mom opened the door. This already was a sign that Ty was unhappy. My mom just smiled. She was happy that I was home.
Ty was sitting on the sofa watching TV. I walked towards him. "Sorry Ty." He gave me a look and then rolled his eyes.
I was happy. Eye rolls meant he wasn't upset.
"Liya is in your room." Is the response I got from him.
I quickly went up. She was sitting at my study desk probably reading the bullshit I write.
I don't even know why she loves the book. It's poorly written and has no content and has very less drama. Its based on this girl Adela and how she and her friends are survive high school.
She says she relates to one of the characters named Aaliya. Which is hilarious cause that character was named after her.
I entered the room and throw my bag at the foot of my bed. "Finally dude... where the hell did you go." So I sat down to tell her the whole story.
As I was narrating I left out few bits like the deep soul searching stare and the dance thing and how I was impressed he knew all the lyrics cause I just didn't find it necessary.
By the end of the story she was just looking at me wide eyed.
"Okay let me get this straight. He bunked with you. Took you to a live show concert thingy. You got to see freaking Ed Sheeran. He bought food. Danced with you through the sunset. And put up with you sleeping through two whole car rides. Someone get me a Randall." I started laughing at her expressions.
