Weekend Vibes!

I got out of the car. "Goodnight Randall."

The weekend was finally here. It had been one crazy week. So much had happened so fast in this week.

From the dare to the slave thing to the musical night to meeting his Best friend.

Somebody was getting closer faster than anyone has before and as much as I like it , there's a small nagging fear at the back of my head.

A voice that told me to be careful and not get too attached.

3 AM thoughts , the worse ones to face alone. The ones that make you doubt every element of the things that brings you the tiniest bit of happiness.

Right now my mind had come up with several theories as to Randall's ulterior motives. And although these would seem silly when I thought about then tomorrow, right now each of them was highly plausible.

I woke up to my phone ringing. The screen showed the name. 'Randall the Jerk'. I should probably change that. I thought laughing yo myself.

I picked up.
Adabelle : .......
Randall : It's 12. Get your butt out of the bed.
Adabelle: How'd you know I was sleeping?
Randall : Check your phone kitten.

I put him on speaker and checked my phone. I had 6 missed calls and 10 texts from him.

Adabelle : Despo much?
Randall: Oh shut up , mentally you're flattered with the attention.

I laughed, I knew it was true.

Randall : Free today evening ?
Adabelle : Heyyy... I just met you yesterday. Chill it.
Randall: Honey admit that you also wanna hang out with me.

He said it so cockily.

Adabelle : You wish.
Randall : So today ?
Adabelle : What's the plan ?
Randall : A chick-flick or a horror film around 6ish, followed by dinner maybe.
Adabelle : Just us?

Randall : Nah, let's go with the whole group. Patrick and Liya included. I can take you out later sometime.

I could hear his smirk through the speaker.

Randall : Will you ask your friends?
Adabelle: Yea, I'll message you if they're in.
Randall : Okay Kitten. If they can't make it we'll still go. Is that okay?
Adabelle : Yess. I don't mind at all.
Randall : Okay then , see you later kitten. Bye.
Adabelle : Bye Bitch.

I heard him laugh before I ended the call.

I moved out of the bed and freshened up. I went down to the kitchen. I saw a small note on the fridge saying that Ty and mom had gone shopping.

I grabbed a bottle of juice from the fridge and flopped into the sofa and switched the TV on.

I messaged Liya and Pat about the movie. Both of them came online almost immediately. Pat said he couldn't come cause he was meeting up with Jay.

Liya agreed but she wanted to know if Nathan could tag along . Apparently she felt too third wheely between us and didn't want us to feel like she was the bone in the middle.

She kept teasing me the whole afternoon. I messaged Randall, 'Can Nathan join?'

Within a few seconds he was calling. I picked up to an annoyed sounding Randall.

Randall : Who's Nathan ?
Adabelle : Why so serious ?
Randall : Don't answer a question with a question Kitten.

I could've given a straight answer but no , I wanted to find out why he was so annoyed.

Adabelle : He's a friend of mine.
Randall : Friend ?
Adabelle : Yes, friend.
Randall : Close friend ?
Adabelle : Why the questions Dad ?
Randall: I prefer Daddy , but that's beside the case.

Adabelle: Daddy is a privileged title. Not everyone can earn it. Plus what does it matter who Nathan is . The question is can he come?

There was a pause .

Randall : Yeah I guess he can.

He said sounding a bit dejected.

Adabelle : Oh by the way he's also Liya's boyfriend.
Randall : Wait what ?

I started cracking up. I knew this was coming but it was still funny.

Randall : Nicely done Kitten.
Adabelle : Why so jelly ?

I said mockingly.

Randall : I was so not 'jelly'. He said imitating my voice. I don't get Jealous.
Adabelle : Awwww , I for one thought it was cute.
Randall : Oh shut up.

I chuckled.

Adabelle : So go book the tickets now . Who you waiting for ?
Randall : Well I am kinda talking to someone on the phone right now. When she stops talking I'll go book.
Adabelle : Hmmmmm, idiot. Go book now. I'll see you in the evening.
Randall : Yesss, byeee.
Adabelle: Byee.

I messaged Liya and told her to go ahead and invite Nathan. After finishing all this I went back to my TV and Juice session.

My mom and Ty came home in about an hour from that point. They brought lunch from outside.

During lunch I asked my mom about the movie. She agreed and told me to take some cash from her purse. Tyler just threw me a look when I asked him to drop me but he agreed anyways.

Randall texted me the movie details. It was some horror movie and the show started at a quarter past 6.

Ty dropped me to the theatre. In the car I got the 'Be Careful' lecture. I nodded to everything he said.

When I reached there it was ten past six. Randall was standing right at the entrance.

When he saw me he rushed towards me. "Someone's early."
Before I could say anything , he had my hand in his, dragging me inside.
