Movie And Dinner?

Before I could say anything , he had my hand in his ,dragging me inside.

"Helloooooo , Gosh slow down." I said as he rushed us in. I picked up the pace and started walking towards the theatre. But instead of moving towards the theatre, I noticed he was pulling me towards the snacks counter.

I started laughing. I have no idea why I found it funny but I did. He turned to look at me. "What ?" He asked,an amused smirk lingering on his lips. I just shook my head.

There was a small line at the counter. "Why so late Hale ?" He asked with one eyebrow raised.

"Umm ... I was here with five minutes to spare. That plus the fact that ads and promos run for ten minutes , so I was actually fifteen minutes early."

"Are you always this late ?" He asked amused at my reasoning.
I just nodded my head with full enthusiasm.

"Very nice. Oh by the way today I am going to teach you something new. " He said looking at the popcorn container.

"Teach me ?"

"Yes kiddo." He said with this smile.

Our turn came. " Oh Kitten would you have a problem sharing food with me ? " he asked.

" No bitch." I said with a sweet smile.

He laughed. He turned to the guy handling the counter. " Hi Good evening. Could I please have a large tub of popcorn and 2 Choco-Strawberries."

The guy nodded and went to get our items.

"What's Choco-Strawberries? I have never heard about that before. " I asked.

"You know how Starbucks has a secret menu? Same way this theatre has a secret menu. One of my friends used to work here. So he told me about the secret menu. They pack everything in the popcorn containers , so the other people don't know about it."

" Wow , I have been coming here since I was a kid and I didn't know about this. " I was shocked. I thought I'd know something like this about my local theatre.

The guy came with our food. "Here you go Sir. Please keep in mind as to not spread the information about the secret menu."

Randall paid the bill and took the food.
"Let me guess , you aren't going to let me split again ?" I said.

"Good job Kitten , you are getting better at this." He said with a wide smile. I just rolled my eyes and walked to the theatre .

As we entered I saw that the promos had just ended. We walked to our seats as soon as possible. I quickly found Liya's face in the crowd.

Randall took the aisle seat so that the seats would be such that it was him, me , Liya and Nathan.

I quickly said hi to the couple. The movie started. I looked at Randall. He looked like he was preparing himself for something to pop out of the screen. He looked hilarious.

He looked at me and raised one eyebrow. I smiled and shook my head.

" Okay Hale , the most important part of today's lesson." He opened one of the boxes of the Choco-Strawberries. Then he took the small container that held the chocolate sauce and poured it all over the popcorn.

My eyes went wide in excitement and also the anticipation of something so new and unusual.

He did the same with the second container of chocolate and then shook the tub of popcorn thoroughly. Thank God he did all this without making a lot of noise.

Then he quickly but all the strawberries in the same box and kept the box down. He offered me the tub. I took a few popcorn.

Believe me .... it worked. The savoury salty taste of the popcorn combined with the sweetness of the chocolate just went with each other so beautifully.

As I was eating I noticed that he was looking. Just quietly gawking at me enjoying his invention with a broad smile . Just then something popped out if the screen , scaring the hell out of the both of us.

Our attention was now on the movie. The movie was about this girl who went to an old deserted mansion on the town outskirts with her boyfriend.

The couple planned to stay there for the weekend. So in a particular scene the guy handcuffs the girl to the headboard.

Then the ghost/ villain person kills the boyfriend and tortures the girl but she can't fight back because she's handcuffed.

She struggles to get the keys which had previously fallen on the floor. And when she gets it she runs. There's more torture but then she finally escapes.

All in all it was a good movie. A few minutes before the movie could end Randall handed me a few tissues to wipe of the Chocolate sauce from my fingers.

As the lights were about to come back he quickly took the tub and tissues and slid them under his cinema seat. He picked up the strawberries and held it in a way that it looked like there was popcorn only in it.

We left the theatre after the credits and stood outside the theatre and chatted for a while. I was ecstatic to see that Randall seemed to get along with both of them.

As we were walking out of the cinema Liya and Nathan told us that they wouldn't join us for dinner.

Nathan handed Randall what I assume was the ticket money and started walking towards the pavement to call a taxi. Liya gave me a cheeky smile and a wink. She mouthed 'Enjoy babe.' And entered the taxi.

"Do you wanna have dinner outside Kitten ?" He asked me, trying not to sound too hopeful.

"One condition... " I teased.

"Yea ... tell me."

"I pay the bill."

He started laughing. "Yes you can pay , but we'll split."

"Nope." I said popping the P.

"But...."

"Okay Goodnight then." I interrupted him and started walking towards the road.

"Okay okay come back. You can pay the whole bill . Come back. "
I walked back and gave him a large victorious smile.

"I like you kitten. You know how to get your way. " I laughed.

After a bit of discussion we decided that we would go to Johnny Rockets. First choice was Pizza Hut but then we had Pizza the last time also. So burgers..... for a change.

So we got into his car and drove off...
