The Fog (Part 5)

As they entered the portal, Hanson and Kenelm were seperated and ended up in a mysterious Foggy Dimension. Kenelm was feeling so scared because the fog was so thick that he can't see anything. He didn't even notice until he needed to scratched his eyes, that the glasses that was given to him fell off without noticing. Then while he slowly stepped forwards, he heard something, sonething very big was coming closer to him. Than he foundhis glasses infront of him. While he slowly gets to his glasses, the creature moves closer and closer to him. He then rushed to grab his glasses, and the creature was alreadt in Kenelm's eye range that he can see tge creature. The creature looked like dark shadows, shadows that are gathered together and form some kind of dark mystical being. The creature than roared, and then...... a mysterious figure grabbed Kenelm by his hand, and ran for it. " Holy Smokes! Who are you???" Kenelm asked along the way, "I'll explain later, it's not safe to be in here right now" The figure urgently said to Kenelm. At a certain point along the way, the figure stopped. "Hey, what's going on?? Why did we stop??" Kenelm asked "Here is a secret passage" *The figure slowly opened the passage. "C'mon, get in here quick!" The figure moved quickly. The figure closed the door, and the beast was too slow to catch up with both Kenelm and the figure. "Now, thanks for getting here Kenelm. And i see that you recieved my glasses." The figure delightfully spoke "Wait, how do you know my name, and..... you are human, and that is your glasses??? That means that you are Thompson!" Kenelm figured it out "Yes, I'm Thompson by the way. But c'mon, we better meet your friend in my base." Thompson hurried. They both ran a far distance until they reached the base.

"Welcome to my base Kenelm, i hope you don't mind that it's underground. It may seem dirty from the outside, but I will be sure that you are going to like it inside." Thompson felt embarressed because of what Kenelm saw "Yeah, I believe you. Everyone said that you are smart and popular back then. So anyways, show me your base." Kenelm was excited to know that he was in good hands. Once they were inside, they saw Hanson at the entrance "Hanson, over here buddy!" Kenelm shouted "Yeah it's me Ken, this place looks amazing doesn't it??" Hanson asked "Yeah, and it looks so clean and futuristic here." Kenelm answered "This entrance is the least of my base i will show you around now, GUARDS-SECURITY-POWER ON SEQUENCE." Thompson said some weird things, but suddenly there were lasers and a gate that is made of titanium. "Thompson, that looks cool, that's some intense security there." Hanson was shocked "Yeah Hanson, This was build by the first Generations that came here with me. The entrance was opened just now because we know that no one is goong to come in. People who wants to come in to this place needs an invitation, and needs to type in the password of each day. Each day has its own passwords that are very complicated, and changes everyday. Because I had a permission to open this gate until we come, we are able to come here without any passwords. This keeps the place running and safe." Thompson explained his complicated technology. Both Hanson and Kenelm couldn't say anything because of the complexity of the technology. "C'mon boys, let's go to the main hall!" They walked past the entrance and went to the hall

They sat down near at one of the tables there, the tables are all long and there are 8 in total. "So can you tell us what that fog is???" Kenelm asked "Wait, you were in the fog too Kenelm??? I was saved by Thompson too, but i didn't see anything exept for him." Hanson also told his story while he was in the fog. "That fog that you were in, it isn't only a normal thick and big fog in a big dimension, that's the only one left in the dimension. But the problem is that the fog is very mysteriously dangerous." Hanson was confused and interested to hear Thompson's explanation "This fog has the same danger just like the Bermuda Triangle. If you don't know what the Bermuda Triangle is an area that when anything comes in, doesn't come out. We don't know where the end of this fog is, but we have been able to survive and send people to help protect this dimension." Thompson told a story about the mysterious Bermuda Triangle "If there is no certain way for us to find the end of this fog, then how are we supposed to blow it away???" Kenelm was worried that he would be stuck there forever "That's why you two came here. There is a proficy, that there are two children that will save this land. And by the way, the name of this place is Twilight." Thompson kept talking " Thompson, sorry to ask. But what is that creature that was outside?" Kenelm kept asking " We don't really have enough information to actually figure out what the beast is, but the snake like creature that was protecting the portal to this land, it actually has the same tail color as the beast's tail. And to put it simpler, the tail is brown." Thompson said that the tail must be a clue " I understand that the snake was guarding it, but why and how is it protecting it??" Hanson quickly replied before anyone could even speak " That is the three headed snake. We know it's kind because the scale of it is the same as the normal cobra in the normal world. There was only one explanation of how this creature, mutation." Thompson knew that the only thing that is making the snake is mutation. " But the only way for the school to have mutation is that if the school is nuked, and the school's history doesn't say anything about a nuclear reaction in the school." Hanson checked again in the school's history " And that is why my generation is the only one who knew about the attack. The 8th class was having an extra night lesson because there was the government of Gordie. The government was having an inspection for the school's safety and facilities. He was occupied to see the facilities in the class. Everybody was suspicious to the government, but what he said about checking the facilities was wrong, he was actually planning a bomb that was in 8B. So when the night lesson started, the bomb exploded, The bomb exploded the same time as when the tsunami happened. Most of the students died, there are only 15 children including me that survived. The government was caught for his crime because the security got help when the bomb was planted. They didn't have time to stop the bomb because they need to do it while the government didn't know that the security is acting weird. I then found a portal and jumped into it instantly, everybody tried to keep me away from the portal. I didn't want to hear them so i jumped in. Everybody accept one of the girls jumped to the portal. The girl said to the police that the portal needs to be hidden, and they actually made it. There was a snake that then went near the school, but the snake was infected with a muclear reaction. The bomb was supposed to be a nuke, but the goverment wasn't patient, so he instead set it as a bomb-like shape. They made the first floor perfectly, but then the first room that was first made in the second floor was made out of wood. Apperantly the snake liked wood, so he went into the room. The police decided to close the room to protect everybody from that room. The snake was apperantly afraid of light, so it didn't enter the portal." Thompson told the story behind the restricted room " That gave us so much info, but its getting darker again, and we haven't gotten any sleep. So can you show us where to sleep??" Hanson was tired from all of the efforts that he has given from the normal world to the mysterious dimension "Ok boys, follow me to go to your rooms. You better remember your rooms because this base is big. Rest up and you will start your first quest." " We need to also do quests??" Kenelm asked " That's the whole point for your appearance here." Thompson thought " But how about our parents at home" Hanson missed his parents " I already sent them about the things that you are going to do. Your parents are well aware on all of this, they also accepted this request because You both's parents used to be here, but they apparently found a way to escape this place through a portal that they found. When they got there, they made a message sender so that we can communicate through dimensions, they sent me their first mail and it's about how to make it so we can make it and use it here to send mails between dimensions." He told them how the communicating machine works "So that is how you sent the glasses to us" Kenelm just noticed "Yes, but the glasses are going to be a big help tomorrow, so do we have a deal?" Thompson asked "Deal!" Both Kenelm and Hanson replied. They were set to have room 48 as their new bedroom. It is big and clean inside the room, there was one closet, two plugs, two tables (One for conversations & one for studies), some chairs, two 5 lamps, 10 lights, and a red cotton carpet on a floor that is made out of quarts. There was a bathroom that took out 1/4 of the room, so they first cleaned them selves, hanged their bags on the door, charged their phones, and drank some water that they took from the of the 40-50 room's kitchen. They remembered what happened in that day, and then they slept at exactly 21.00. They said sweet dreams to each other and then they slept in their own beds.
