The Strategy (Part 3)

As they go home, they feel like something is following them "Kenelm, I think we should hurry to your house." Said Hanson with fright "Yeah, I think someone is following us. Let's run!" They then both run instantly to Kenelm's home, but there was something under the mat of Kenelm's door that was actually surprisingly helpfull at that time. "Kenelm, I think that it's, ummmm...... a pair of glasses???" Hanson whispered "Yeah Hanson, but again there is a note that is left. Let's read it in my room!" "Ok" Then they both quickly ran to Kenelm's bedroom, tossed their backpack to Kenelm's bed, and sit on the carpet to discuss what they should do.

"Okay, Kenelm did you find anything when we were having that school tour???" Hanson asked "Yes, I actually found something. So in the staircase from the second floor that leads up to the third floor, there was a corner that looks very suspicious because it is darker than all the others. And I tell you this because i saw the lights hanging in the middle of the staircase, but one of the corners were darker than the others." Kenelm informed to Hanson "Wait, do you still have that letter???" Hanson asked "The one with the riddle right? Then yes i still have it." Kenelm answered "I think that with all the clues we have, we can solve that riddle!" Then they both looked at it again: Life has so many ups and downs, along the way you Will find darkness, watch your step along the way, step the wrong thing and you'll find grey.
"Ok so first let's discuss about that sentence of Life has so many ups and downs." Hanson spoke " That's it! You know that I said the staircase is suspicious??? Life has ups and downs, and in our life there are real staircases that leads up and down!" Kenelm shockingly answered "That's a good start, next is along the way you will find darkness."Hanson continued "Again, the corner of the staircase is dark, so continue the next part of the riddle" Hanson instantly knew "Well the next sentence is watch your step along the way." Hanson continued "Wait a second, there was something atteched to the staircase. I think that it was a vent???"Kenelm wondered "I think that it might lead somewhere, but the next part is step the wrong thing and you'll find grey???" Hanson continued "I guess that we are going to find that later. Now do we have anything that will help us make this plan??" Kenelm asked "I actually have a map! My parents have them because they used to be in Xanders High. They were the ones who rebuild the school after that tornado." Hanson explained "Wait, what tornado" Kenelm took a second "Well actually, the only classroom that didn't got hit by the tornado was 8d ." Hanson told Kenelm "That's where Thomson's class was. I think he hid there, and there's where he was pointing us to." "Kenelm, in the map there is actually a vent that is on the wall and close to the floor of the staircase. It's connected to 9d, and it leads to..... the.....creepy....room." Hanson is scared "I think that we now should make the traces so we can try to actally check the staircase" Kenelm suggested.

Then they started to map out where they should go. They first knew that the entrance and the back door was actually guarded by security. They then agreed to climb on too Kenelm's roof and start jumping from house to house. Since the school was so high, the hight of the buildings around it are only as tall as the first floor, so that means that they can climb into one of the second floor's windows. They agreed to actually get in the second floor by climbing into the lab's window because the lab was the closest to 9d. Then they were stuck because the hallway has a security between the staircase and the lab( that means that the guard is protecting 9c, 9d, the room that is not allowed, the lab, and the staircase). So they checked what they can bring so they can be disguised, then Kenelm tried to use the glasses because he was confused. He then thinked about Hanson, and he instantly became Hanson. "WHAT THE HECK KENELM YOU ARE ME????" Hanson was shock "I can disguise to be the guard if i see and think about him, wait i will change back to my body." Then Kenelm changed to his normal body "Woaah, so when you think about someone, you can become that someone when you use that glasses" Hanson was amazed "That is what the note said, it says when we imagine something, we can be anything." Kenelm saw the note. They then knew that the glasses were the one hope that they have. They then mapped out their way to the staircase where there are no security watching or even on it's ground. So then if they see a vent, they will go in one by one through it and then discover what is inside. They will first go into 9d then the restricted room. If they don't find the vent, then they need to instantly go to 9d and the restricted room. Their plan was super clear and was set, but how will they get to school without anyone notice two kids jumping from roof to roof just like gorillas They thinked, thinked, thinked........ *knock knock knock "Who's that Kenelm?" Hanson asked "Wait a minute, it's 6.30. There is supposed to be nobody, and it's almost the time to actually start the plan. But I am scared to open the door" Kenelm is frightened, but they slowly went downstairs, and they slowly open the door, and..... "Kenelm, Hanson, I can help you." It was mrs. Norris all along! They were shocked and asked how did mrs. Norris knew about their plan. Mrs. Norris was actually staring at them the whole time throught the window, because it's not normal for a pair of friends to go to a house at their first day of school. "So can you help us to distract anyone that sees us???" Kenelm asked "Actually, I have another idea. I will shut down the energy of all Gordie, so then you could tell me when you are in the school by telling me through this *mrs. Norris gave them a Walkie-Talkie. I know that you are confused on why i am helping you, but.... I am here to help you because I have been in the restricted room" mrs. Norris explained "WAIT WHAT! WHAT IS IN THE ROOM???" Hanson screamed "I was actually sent by Thompson if you know him, to guide you guys to the hiding place." Mrs. Norris replied "Then if you have gone to the restricted room, what's in it???" Kenelm asked "It might not be pretty, and it's not treasure. There is a portal that was protected by a creature in the middle of the room. You will find a magical object in 9d, it won't have any guards because the class fake teacher to make other people think that it's a busy room. They are set of students that has actually been chosen to keep this a secret. They hide something in the shelf near the teachers desk. I told 3 of the students to stand by, waiting for you guys. So that's what all that you need to know, there is no secret for you guys that we hide because the Thompson chose you, and that portal is your key to Thompson's hiding place." Mrs. Norris gave information to both Kenelm and Hanson "Ok, well let's start our plan! It's already 7.00 so the sky is now dark." Hanson said to Kenelm "Well let's go and start our jobs." Kenelm said to both Hanson and Mrs. Norris "Ok you boys take the right path to the school, and I will take the left path to the power switch." They then  left the house, the boys climbed to the roof and Mrs. Norris is still on her way to the power switch. When mrs. Norris is ready, the boys will start to swing from roof to roof.
