A Book

I open it with gladness,

Love that is full of advices

With so much longing I sniff it,

Wisdoms that I get

In my heart, treasures for life.

Life that gives light.

I, thank you for these...

You become the open book to me

I run to you for guidance and motivation

You become my great adviser, financer and most of all my sister

For if not of you, I will not reach this stage of life.

Starting from the bottom to the top,

You lift me up not to stop

You make me do what is right.

You teach me on how to be brave instead of being weak.

Twenty-four hours you need to be awake

Sacrificing for your nine hours sleep

To sustain my needs and provide my studies.

Thank you for undying love and sweat of sacrifices.

These words were not enough for sure

To express my thanksgiving and pleasure.

With so much love you give me,

I love you, I say!
