Calum: yea I'm talking to you. Isn't that the whole point of a direct message?

Faith: well, I mean if you think that I'm a different Faith then that could be a problem.

Calum: aren't you the girl from New Orleans that was tweeting me?

Faith: well, yea. But I never expected you to tweet me back!

Calum: well. Today is your lucky day it seems.

Faith: wait... out of all these fans... why DM me?

Calum: because you remind me of someone I used to know.

My mom was never the type of woman to buy me presents. But, since I was graduating soon, she bought me tickets to see 5SOS in Shreveport. She seemed off about it and she refuses to tell me why. She just said "now Faith, whatever happens at this concert, I want you to call me no matter what."

I shrugged off her cryptic warning and started packing my things for college. I move in 2 months and it's more than enough time to make sure all of my stuff is packed. On the side, I packed stuff for the concert because I would be staying in a hotel for the night.

I danced around, listening to Post Malone. I'm saving up to go see him soon. My best friend Carlos was planning on going with me. He's been my best friend for a couple years. He's all I've had since.... He moved.. but hey. What can you do?

My Spotify is interrupted by a whistle from Twitter. I quickly moved over to check my phone to see a new tweet from 5SOS.

@ 5SOS: so guys. We've decided to post the tour dates. Go check them out! Buy the tickets and come see us!!

I replied instantly.

@faith.love already got a ticket and a backstage pass for Shreveport!

New message from @calum5sos!

I opened my messages on twitter. He's still trying to talk to me? This is insane!

Calum: wait... you're coming to a show..? With a backstage pass..? You'll have to give me time to shower before we meet 😅

I rolled my eyes and exited out of twitter. This is crazy.

The little red haired girl ran around the backyard.

"CJ! Stop chasing me!!" She giggled and screamed.

"Never!" The dark haired boy said, the frog still in his hands.

"Alright you two! Time to get ready for bed. It's getting dark and you two start school in the morning." The girls mother called from the sliding glass doors of the house.

The two children "awe'ed" and hugged and said their goodbyes before the boy went across the street to his house and the girl went inside.

"Mommy. Do you think CJ and I will be friends forever?" The girl asked as her mother started tucking her in to bed.

The mother chuckled softly. "Oh, Faith. I don't think anything will split you two apart.

But it did. The move. The distance. The lack of communication. The memories of their childhood shenanigans soon fled their minds as they grew. They started worrying about high school, extra curriculars, who was gonna be in the friend group. The two kids never saw each other after the 4th grade.

This is a short chapter to just keep things kinda recent. I've moved and still trying to get things in order. Don't quite have the money for WiFi or a laptop yet. But I'm still trying to keep this book going. I suppose this chapter is a short filler.
