EMILY'S POV

I sat in my room, listening to my music. My bed was covered in tons of pictures. Most of them were of two little kids. One had dark brown hair and dark eyes. The other had long, dark red hair with light brown eyes. Most of the images were of the two playing on a playground or in a club house. Some were birthday parties. Then there were those that were more serious.

I couldn't help but look at the image of the little girl standing outside of an empty house. I flipped the image over and read the comment on the back.

"The day her best friend moved."

I couldn't remember his name. When I asked my mom, she didn't want to tell me. She said it's too painful and she didn't want me living that lifestyle.

We haven't seen each other since that day. The day my best friend moved away to who knows where. The day I was left alone.

I gather the pictures up and put them back in the box they came in. I stuck the box in the back of my closet before I started walking downstairs. I was starving.

I looked at all of the picture of me and my family scattered on the walls. We were semi happy. But like other families, some worse than us of course, we have our fights.

I walked into the kitchen and saw a box of pizza laying on the counter. I got myself 2 slices and sat on the tv, turning on the radio.

"We're here on the phone with one of the four 5SOS boys."

"Hey guys, it's Calum!"

I listened with a smile on my face. I had always been a fan of 5sos and my friends always talk about their tweets so I made a twitter.

"What should we expect on this new tour?"

"We'll be going to a lot of new places. I'm not going to name them, you'll just have to look at the list. But also be expecting new songs from us!"

"Alright guys. That was Calum Hood from Five Seconds of Summer. Now, back to our top hits of the hour."

I leaned back as All Time Low by Jon Bellion started playing. I sat there and thought about everything going on. I take a bite of my pizza.

5sos was adding towns to their tour. I'm graduating high school and going to college in two weeks. I don't know what I'm going to do..

I guess I'll just hope for a miracle...

So this chapter was kind short, but I'll make the next few a little longer. QOTD: what's your favorite book?
