Gerard!!! Come here!- his mother's voice broke the perfect harmony he was creating on his beautiful guitar.

He was in decent mood for once so he actually bothered to answer her.

What?!

She was quiet for a few secundes so he assumed she was as stunned by him answer as he was.

Uhm...come to dinner...

He would under any other circumstances just keep playing but there was something.....different in her voice.Something out of the ordinary....something threatening.

But he was Gerard Way and he couldn't just listen to her.

So he just kept quiet and waited for her to leave.

But unfortunately, she was his mother and she knew him.She knew he wouldn't get up and come like a normal kid.And she knew what to say to get him to listen.

Your father wants to talk to you...

The words froze the blood in his veins. He swallowed and struggled to ask

Dad's home?
Yeah. And he wants you and Mikey in the kitchen.Now.
Tell him I'll be there in a secund.

He waited to hear her footsteps get quieter as she walked away and than he allowed himself to panic.

Why was dad home? Isn't he supposed to be in Asia or something? He remembered clearly his dad announcing that he will be in Asia on business for a month.

That day Gerard actually fell asleep with what would have been a smile in a less fucked up world.

Wait when was that? He checked his phone to see what date it was.

17th.

Fuck.

How could he lose track like this?
He was looking around in panic when an answer to that question presented itself in a form of an half empty vodka bottle.

He tryed to calm himself down but he was still shaking unspeakably. He hated it but there was nothing he could do about it.It was a panic attack.

His eyes were still on the bottle as he realized it wasn't empty.

Well how much harm can it do now?

* * *

After what seemed like 3 hours to Gerard but in reality was about 15 minutes he was calm enough to come out.

Well not really. But fuck it.

His face turned expressionless as he exited his room.

He heard people talking as he was walking down the stairs.

He took a deep breath before entering the kitchen.

He wished his mom was just trying to get him out of his room and dad wasn't really home but...

There he was.

The man who ruined his childhood. Probably the rest of his life too. But Gerard didn't believe that he will last much longer so he didn't particularly mind.

Oh Gerard! Come and sit with us.

God he hated his voice.
He hated the way he talks.
The way he walks.
Like he owns everyone.
God he hated him.

But most of all he hated the person he would become around him.

A scared little cry baby.

And just like that he felt well known tears in the corners of his eyes.

Just fucking great.
