"No, no, no..." Bommie mumbled to himself.

Finally, Devin spoke up.

"We shouldn't assume the worst," he explained to his friends.

"If Satan's devil really captured Dommie, he would have no need to write this message," Devin said with a grave look on his face. "Dommie's not dead, but he is in serious trouble- and it is our job to help."

"This message means that Dommie's pursuers want us to stop looking, not that they have found him. We absolutely cannot give up now." As Devin finished this last sentence, a teary-eyed Bommie nodded.

The team searched the school grounds for four more hours, finding nothing- not even a chap. The tired rescue team decided they would need to return to London. They get to the train station and Bommie tries to nap while waiting for the next train. But no luck. Bommie can't even close his eyes, thinking about his dear, possibly dead, brother.

While in the train station, Goob Morning comes on. Bommie looks at the television. On the screen is Charlie with a huge, clearly fake frown.

"Small boy found screaming in hospital due to burning in fire," she reported.

"We just can't get a break!" Bommie moaned.

Quinn grabs Devin and Bommie by the backs of their necks and dashes out of the train station to the nearest cab. "Nearest hospital please," the ordinarily polite Quinn barks to the cab driver.

"Bommie, it'll be okay," Devin said to Bommie, who had an intense and serious expression on his face.

Bommie gave Devin an empty stare as he slapped him right in the eye with his miniature hand. A large, dark-red mark was left on Devin's face.

Devin ordinarily kept his devilish anger to himself, but this was too much.

"WHY'D YOU DO THAT, CHARLIE?!" Devin shouted.

"...Charlie?" Bommie asked, shocked.

"HOW COULD YOU DO THIS TO ME!! I STAYED BY YOUR SIDE ALL THROUGH YOUR STUPID ADVENTURES AND NOW YOU SLAP ME WHEN TIMES GET ROUGH?"

Bommie saw how upset he had made Devin. He felt the tears well up in his eyes. But he realized: now was not the time. He couldn't just start bawling everytime anything goes the least bit wrong.

"I'm sorry, Devin. I appreciate you. I just am a little cranky and tired and homesick. But we are going to get through this together."

Bommie wraps Devin in a big hug.

"Hey!" the gruff cab driver shouts. "No cuddling in my cab!"

The three adventurers dissolve into giggles as the cab pulls up to the big, imposing grey hospital.

"Woah... COOL!!" Bommie shouted. He appeared to be in a much better mood. Devin and Bommie got out of the cap, as Quinn gave the cab driver a 5 doolur tip.

Bommie barged into the giant hospital, as Devin and Quinn tried to keep up. A grim-looking nurse greeted them at the door.

"No entry!" she shouted, eyeing Bommie suspiciously. But then Quinn strolled up.

"Excuse me, madam!" they said soothingly.

"I'm a visiting paramedic from an Amurican hospital, here to learn the latest in medical technology from this world-renowned hospital. Would you please allow entry for myself and my assistants?

The Nurse batted her eyelashes at Quinn.

"Why... of course! So sorry for the delay." The nurse stepped aside.

"Thank you, fine madam," Quinn replied. "I'm specifically interested in treatment for burn patients... do you have any here?"

"Why, yes, we just got a victim... he's been crying all day! Room 2314," the nurse answered, eager to be of assistance.

Quinn bowed, and casually entered the hospital with Bommie and Devin. As soon as the door swung shut behind them, they began to run. They galloped up two flights of stairs, a long hallway, a shard right turn, and finally, panting, found themselves in front of Room 2314.

Quinn pushed open the door, only to see a devilish grin.
