Delilas pov:

It was my birthday, I'll I really wanted was to hang out with my friends Nicole and Alexus. We've been friends since like second grade, now we were only a few months away from graduating, it seemed crazy, the thought of having to leave your childhood behind and have to go face first into the real world did not seem entirely welcoming. But on the other hand what did I expect.

I was broken out of my thoughts by my mom sticking her head in the doorway of my room "you almost ready for school?". Considering I haven't even gotten out of bed yet I stood up and walked over to my closet and started grabbing random clothes, I settled for my evanescence shirt and some ripped black jeans. I quickly throw them on and start sliding on my Marvin Martian Looney tunes graphic converse ( I actually have these,i feel like I'm the only one who wears graphic converse, everyone always buys the solid colors/patterned ones) and I lace them up. I run to the bathroom, fix my hair and apply a large amount of eyeliner on, I grab my bag and head down the stairs and out the front door to walk to school, I would take the bus but I try to avoid people as much as possible, and I'm almost late anyway.

As I'm walking to school my phone dings, I pull it out of my pocket and see I got a text from Alexus.

Alexus: happy birthday, where are you I have a surprise!

Delia : I'm walking in now.

And with that I put my phone back in my pocket and walk in through the doors of the high school.

After a few seconds of me looking around I finally spot Alexus and Nicole and walk over to them.

"Hey guys" I say while walking over to them. Thay smile at me, "happy birthday!" Alexus says while giving me a hug. A few minutes later of us talking about my birthday plans Nicoles boyfriend Nate walks over and raps his arms around her waist from behind her and I see her smile a little, I'll be honest they were adorable together. I'm pretty sure he has a YouTube channel called NateWantsToBattle but that's pretty much all I know about him, he's pretty cool. "Hey you guys" he says with a friendly smile, "Anyway.....I'll give you your birthday present after school!" Alexus interrupts, I could tell she was excited, "do you guys want to come over to my house after school?" I offer. "Sure"Alexus adds and Nicole nods.

The rest of the day was pretty normal, when the bell rang for our last class of the day to end I grabbed my bag and met Alexus and Nicole out side the school and we all walk to my house, I don't live that far away from the school so that's a plus when you walk to school almost every day. I get lost in my thoughts as I think of what Alexus might have got me and before we knew it we were at my house. I unlocked the door because my mom was working today and we step in. I flop down on the couch and cross my legs and Alexus sits down next to me and turns the tv on. I turn around and see Nicole digging through her bag "what are you looking for?" I ask with curiosity. "Found it!" She looks back at me slowly with an evil grin. "What...."this is not going to end well. She pulls out a super high tech speaker, my eye light up and I make grabbing hands for it, she tosses it to me and I plug my phone up to it and start blaring teenagers by mcr and we all started singing/head banging/what ever the fuck the rest of it was to the song, it was fun and then I suddenly remembered Alexus never gave me my present "Hey, we almost forgot my present"I stated "OH! I almost forgot.". She got up with a proud look on her face and pulled three slips of paper out of the pocket in her black hoodie and handed them to me. After I read them I just sat and stared in shock at what was being beholden in front of me. I....had three tickets..........to see my favorite band...........live...............My Chemical Romance!
I started fangirl screaming and made everyone flinch at my sudden jumpscare. I got up quickly and hugged Alexus so tight she couldn't breathe," thank you!". when I finally let go she gasped from the lack of oxygen.
"WERE GOING TO SEE MY CHEMICAL ROMANCE LIVE!!!!!" I screamed, I was literally shaking from joy, we all celebrate and ordered pizza and drank dr.pepper and had a good time.

When everyone left I went up to my room and laid down, I pulled out the tickets from my back pocket and looked at the date, the concert was tomorrow luckily today was Friday and before I knew it I was fast asleep.

AHHHHHHHHH!!!!
Sorry this sucks and is super short, but trust me it will get better next chapter......I hope....:-|
