A few months passed and we still didn't find Jai

I went to school on Thursday, did the same thing as usual. I went home that afternoon, I went to my room, I dropped everything from my schoolbag and i saw a folded note I opened it, read the note and it was the note from 3 months ago from Jai. I thought about what if I have asked him that, well it wasn't my fault would change everything had to change, it would have never had happened. I had to change everything back to what it was. I cried myself to sleep; I had a dream that Jai was fine and he was with a new family and new best friends. I woke up in the morning because it was prom. I didn't feel like going to prom but I was suppose to go with Jai to prom, he was my prom date. I had promised him before the fight we had . My mom was yelling "ROSALYN.....ROSALYN!!". "I'm here mom in my room" I said. She knocked and she entered and asked "are you going to prom?" I muttered "I don't know". She hugged me saying

"It's going to be fun, just go". But I couldn't tell her why I didn't want to go. She said "you look pale what happened?" I started crying and she said "tell me what happened", "I asked something that was private to him about 3 months ago" I said quietly. Now my mom was paying more carefully what I was saying and I handed her the note that he gave me. She was really disappointed in me. She told me to not to worry she was by my side. Also she said she was going to help me find Jai. I went to Luke's house and ask him if he was going to prom and he said "yea of course this is the last year we are here at this school". He asked " do you want to be my prom date", but I remembered again that Jai was my prom date, I stood quietly for a few seconds then I responded back "sure". I went back home to get ready for the evening......
