Flashback
An eight year old Alice and Killian were on their way home from soccer practice.When Alice noticed something. An upside down box that was moving. She went over to it with her father following behind. Alice crouched down on her knees and picked up the box. She saw what it was. A tiny gray kitten with blue eyes. She smiled. "Papa can we keep him please." She said begging her father. Um... He paused. "I'll take care of him I promise." She said again. Killian said nothing that time. "See look he loves me already." Alice said as she listened to the kitten purr. "Oh, alright." He said with a nervous look. "Thank you Papa." Alice said kissing him on the cheek. "So what are you going to name him?" He asked. "Hmm..she thought for a moment. "I think...Cheshire." She said."Are you sure you want to name him that?" Killian said as he fidgeted with his fake hand. "Yes Papa, six years from now I want the best life for us" she said as she took his hand. "But we will do it together." Killian said in a raspy voice.
