The feeling of my paws pounding on the dirt, the wind flowing through my fur, blood dripping down my muzzle...was euphoric.

I was almost disappointed when I woke up days later in my human body. No, I was disappointed.

The sun was shining brightly in my eyes and I just wanted it to go away. Groaning, I raised a hand to cover my eyes and sat up a little. Elijah and Nik stood five feet away from me. Elijah's face was stoic, revealing no emotions, while Nik was smirking at me. Clothes were thrown at me and I looked down to realise I was in fact naked.

Honestly, this wasn't the first time I woke up in the woods naked.

"Morning." I said and smiled too brightly at my brothers. I put on the black pants and then the dark green shirt.

"Took you long enough. We've been waiting twenty minutes for you to wake up." Nik said.

"My deepest apologies, dear brother. Next time I'll be sure to wake up when it best suits you, Niklaus."

"Now that you've both had your little fun, I believe we have a bargain." Elijah said. I stared at him as I pulled the shirt on.

"That's right. Now, what was it again?" Nik asked sarcastically, "Oh yeah, wait. I remember. That's it. You wish to be reunited with our family."

"You gave me your word, Niklaus."

"And he'll keep it." I said as the three of us started to walk through the woods.

"Jasper is right. What kind of brother would break his bond. Even though you did try to kill me." Klaus said.

"I'm pretty sure we've all tried to kill you, Nik."

"I could have. But I didn't."

"Now no one can. Not even you."

"Relax, my big brothers." I said and put one hand on Klaus' shoulder and one of Elijah's.

"Where are they?" Elijah asked, completely ignoring me. How rude.

"You need to lighten up. I'll bring you to them soon enough."

"That's a great idea. Let's lighten up with a good old drink."

All I wanted was a drink. A good old glass of bourbon or whiskey. But apparently that wasn't happening any time soon considering as soon as we walked into the apartment Katherine stood with Stefan Salvatore.
