I wish that i could wake up with amnesia

Max POV -

I could of sworn I seen Nev out of the corner of my eye, rushing for the door; but that could just be my mind playing tricks on me. I know he is also in Vegas, but the chances of us being in the same hotel is very slim. 'What time is our meal reserved for Max?' Pri asked as we carried our suitcases to our room, 'In about two hours, stop worrying Pri you'll have loads of time to make yourself look pretty, but if I'm honest you already are' I smirked, trying to be smooth. She gave me a small laugh and a nudge, I know how insecure it is and it breaks my heart. I complement her every day, I'm forever telling her how beautiful she truly is, but she will never believe it... and if she finds out about mine and Nev's thing it will break her even more. I can't have that. 'Here we go, room 212!' Pri jumped, sliding the card into the handle and unlocking it. She through open the door to see a gigantic window overlooking Vegas, now that was beautiful. We placed our suitcases onto the bed and I decided to start unpacking as Pri got ready, since women take FAR too long.

Nev POV -

I am officially the worst boyfriend going. We must of had the nicest meal ever, everything was perfect but all I could think of was Max. I had to get Rachel to repeat herself about 50 times because I went off track and stopped listening. We were in the taxi on the way back to the hotel, Rachel was snuggled into the crook of my neck, she kept on giving me cheeky little kisses; which kinda turned me on. We pulled up outside the hotel and my heart was racing, the thought of seeing Max was destroying me, and I know will definitely destroy this weekend. I paid the driver and took hold of Rachel's hand as we walked in, only to run directly into Max and Pri; guess I must of jinxed it. 'Hey you guys!' I said, trying to sound enthusiastic, but I could tell Max was having none of it. 'Hey Nev, and you must be Rachel' Max smiled, going in to give Rachel a hug. 'Nice to finally meet you Max, and you to Pri! Heard a lot about you both-' 'Well we best be going, don't want to ruin your evening!' I awkwardly laughed, pushing Rachel away and towards the lifts. 'Has something happened between you two?' Rachel asked me, 'No not at all, just didn't want to ruin their evening.' I half smiled, kissing her cheek gently.

We got back into our room and I collapsed onto the bed, my face smushed into the pillow. I felt my phone vibrate in my back pocket, to see a text of guess who? Max. 'I need to see you, we will be back in about 2 hours, I'll meet you down near the bar' I immediately replied, 'Okay whatever' trying to sound cool. I just wish I could go to sleep right now and wake up with amnesia, and forget about him; but that sadly isn't how it works.

Max POV -

The next two hours dragged as all I wanted to do was see Nev, to try and sort everything out and become civil again, even though I wanted more. 'Should I ask for the bill?' Pri nodded as I signalled the waiter over and handed me it. I quickly dashed out the cash and stood up. 'Hold your horses!' She laughed, taking my hand as we walked out the door. 'Hey when we get back me and Nev are going for a drink at the bar, just for a catchup, wow that sounded feminine.' I joked, 'is that alright?' I asked, she nodded. 'Of course, just don't be too late. Wow what a coincidence we are all at the same hotel! I need to get to know this Rachel' 'Yeah same, she seems pretty cool though.' We finally reached the hotel and I think I practically sprinted towards the bar, I smiled at Pri as she headed in the other direction towards the lifts, and that's when I saw Nev. He had a white shirt on, with the first top buttons unbuttoned; and still that adorable crooked half smile. I waved him over and sat down at the bar. 'Well hello white fox, don't you look smart tonight' he smirked, 'Could say the same about you Schulman.'

(Will delete this) Hey everyone, sorry I haven't updated in so long, been pretty busy and if I'm honest I forgot about this haha. I promise I will keep regularly updating and I break up for summer soon so I will have a lot of free time (to write for you all yay) I'm glad you're all enjoying it so far and thanks for reading!
