I will try to fix you - Nev and Max from Catfish fanfic

Nev POV -

A week later and I was back at home, chilling on my sofa and I flicked down my twitter mentions. We were meant to start the filming for Catfish a month ago, but we had to postpone and we are now starting in 2 weeks. Max thankfully wasn't arrested, he did have to go to a few interviews but the police could tell Rachel had just framed it on him and it was really her fault. Speaking of Rachel mine and her relationship is officially over, I have to appear in court next week and they will decide then if she's guilty or not. She finally agreed that what she was doing was wrong and she moved out (and then dumped me via text message.) There was a point in our relationship when I did think that what we had was special and that things were getting serious. She had mentioned marriage a few times and even starting a family. The thought of it all gave me butterflies, as in life that's what you always want. A well paid job, an amazing relationship, children and happiness. I don't know what turned to make her so horrible, it started by her becoming overprotective, then the name calling began, then the abuse. The sad thing is, I deserved it. I was having an affair. She had all rights to being overprotective and accusing me of cheating, because she was correct. She never found out about it though, I think if she did I wouldn't be breathing right now. Anyway, she is in the past now and the only time I have to see her again is next week. I do feel so guilty for cheating on her, but abuse is just taking it too far.

I opened up on twitter last week about my abuse and many people have been so supportive about it. I have even got some opportunities to go to schools, colleges and universities to speak out about it, which I think is a very positive way of ending this terrible experience and to hear other peoples stories and if they have suffered as well. I have already answered a few emails about it, no I promise I won't be making a TV show about it!

So, where do me and Max stand. Me and Max have been through thick and thin over the past couple of months. Our relationship started nearly a year ago, it's crazy looking back at everything. We have decided to come out about our relationship once the trail is well and truly over, so probably in about 2 months time. I don't know how everyone is going to take it, but I've had a good amount of people asking me if me and Max are gay and that they 'ship' us together, which I think is adorable. It's amazing to think that we can finally be happy together now, I can't believe he's stuck by me. Anyone would of left by now, it just shows how much he really does care. He's coming round in a bit, for a movie night. We are going to order some food and drink some beers, while watching comedies and chick flicks, yep, chick flicks - how manly.

If I've learnt anything from the last couple of months, it's that when you find someone special and will fight for you, you can't let them go. These people hardly come into your life and they are so precious. Max is my world, my sunshine, my cutie, he's saved my life. I love him more than anything. Everyone deserves a superhero in their lives, and he is mine.

(A/N - Hey everyone! Okay so firstly, sorry I haven't updated in over 2 weeks, school has basically got on top of me and I just haven't had the time or motivation to write. Secondly, this may sound like the final part, it is not but I am nearing the end. I will probably do a Max POV next and then some sort of final part. I feel like I need to end it soon otherwise it will just drag and I'll be writing bullshit. Once I have finished I will be starting a Nev Schulman fanfic anyway, so look out for that!
