I couldn't imagine my life without him

Max POV -

I can't believe what Rachel had done. Since a few hours ago my hate for her had gone up from about an 8 to a very clear 10. When Nev and her first met, he adored her. Yes we still liked each other but I'm sure at one point, his feelings were stronger for her than for me. He would treat her like a princess, complement her repeatedly on how she looked and how perfect she was for him but a part of him didn't want to get too attached, but he fell; too hard like normal. First Megan (well technically Angela) messing with his head and lying constantly, now her. This is why I want to make him happy, because he deserves it more than anyone. I want to be the person who makes him smile, cry with laughter at something I say that wasn't meant to be that funny, whenever he's having a bad day, cook him his favourite meal, complement him everyday on things from his choice of shoes, to his beautiful eyes, cuddle him at night and play with his hair as we talk about anything, and then eventually fall asleep. These are some of the things I promise to do when we finally get together, only a month to go.

We had been sat on the floor of the toilets in the hotel for about half an hour; in silence. I was playing with his hands, rubbing my thumb in circular motions in the palm of his hands. 'Where do we go from here?' Nev asked, breaking the silence. 'I don't know. You could come back to our room and I'll get some ice for your eye, but that doesn't stop the fact you have to get on a plane with that monster tomorrow and fly back home for another month, away from me.' I bit my lip hard, trying to hold back the tears. 'I know, that's why I said I need to suffer a little longer-' 'Nev she could put you in hospital if she carries on this way, maybe even kill you.' I couldn't imagine my life without him, my second half - gone. 'Don't worry, I'll be fine. Bruises heal, and I doubt her push wouldn't be hard enough to kill me.' I rolled my eyes, 'Haven't you heard about people dying from abuse? It happens to hundreds of people! I can't have it happen to you.' My grip on his hand suddenly became tighter, like I needed to protect him. I stood myself up, pulling him up with me. 'Come back to my room, please' I pleaded, 'Okay, but what are we going to tell Pri?' 'We'll just straight up tell her how much of a twat Rachel is.' I could see he didn't want to, but he smiled and nodded anyway. I took hold of his hand, 'Together?' 'Together.'

We walked back into our room to see no Pri. A note was left on the table saying, 'Went out with Rachel for the night, won't be back until 10 tomorrow morning. Thanks for leaving me, again.' Fucking hell she's so dramatic. I showed Nev the note, making him grin as he knew we'd have the room to ourselves tonight. 'Let me get some ice for your eye' I walked over to the mini fridge and took out a water bottle full of ice, I handed him it. 'Thanks baby' He smiled, causing butterflies in my stomach. We were interrupted by a quite loud bang on the door, I quickly stood up and walked over, opening it to see Rachel, here we go.

'Can I see my boyfriend please?' She demanded, 'Erm no, I don't we have some talking to do anyway.' I closed the door behind me and locked it, sliding the key in my back pocket. 'What about? All I want is too see my boyfri-' 'He's told me everything, you fucking idiot. You dare lay another hand on him and I swear I will go straight to the police and have you done for assault.' Just as i said that a very confused Pri walked around the corner, 'What the fuck is going on?' I glared at Rachel, 'Why don't you tell her?' I stood back and smirked. 'Theres nothing to tell! He's bullshitting!' I laughed at her pathetic lie and how she was trying to wiggle out of the situation, 'Babe the proof is all over his body just TELL HER!' She took a long breath before turning to Pri, 'Me and Nev got into an argument, he was calling me loads of horrible things and he went to hit me! So as self defence I hit him back, and he's ended up with a black eye, so we are both in the wrong I guess.'

I couldn't believe her. The lies that were coming out of her month were making me sick, she abused him! 'Just enjoy your night out, I'll see you tomorrow Pri.' I unlocked the door and walked in, slamming it in their faces.

(A/N - Hey everyone! Just a quick note to say this will probably be the latest part until the 16th/17th as I am on holiday next week and quite busy for the rest of this one. If I do have any spare time I might maybe update but I doubt I will, and I will probably update my Demons fanfic and not this one (please give that a read if you haven't already!)
