♣16: Family Reunion♣

EUNISEs POV

"Daughter."

That sick deep voice spoke from behind me. Chills grew up my back and all I could think about was how it was me versus the person I hated. The chaotic scenery in front of me no longer important as I slowly pivot my heel to face my father.

He looked bruised yet he still held that smirk of his ,shouting the words "I-will-kill-you." But I too formed a sickening smirk that shouted "I-will-kill-you-first." He scoffed at how much confidence I displayed but I payed no mind because I was sure I was going to end him.

I was about to talk when another voice sounded from my back. Everything as if was knocked down as I heard his voice. The voice I haven't heard for years.

"Sister."

Sister. That single word had me paralyzed at my spot not knowing what to do I look at my father confusingly but he just smirked down at me ,I took the courage to look back and gasps at the sight I saw.

The little boy I use to see so pampered looked like a model ,he had the same hair color as me and had soft locks and would easily guess that we are blood related. His body was now formed with muscles and he was taller than me. He grew up looking quite decent for an alpha. If you would look at me now ,longing and shock is evident on my face. Yet when I looked over him his face was stoked void of any emotions.

"Brother..." I whispered.

He looked at me and for a moment I saw his eyes droop and I wonder why. I wanted to go to him comfort him and tell him it will be okay ,imagine all those years living with parents like them. Then again I might be wrong. I've lost the family link the moment I decided to become a rogue and I can't feel them on my mind.

"What are you doing here?" I croaked out as I look at him ,he stood still before his eyes look back at our father and fall back at me.

I thought he would say something but I fell for the trap. He charged at me in a shocking fast speed and I was pressed on my back to the ground with a growling brother and his obsidian eyes. I could feel the small rocks press unto my bare legs and the tingling sensation on my back at the harsh contact with the ground.

Footsteps came approaching us and I look up angrily to see my amused father. He is chuckling like the idiot he is and I wonder why my brother suddenly changed attitudes. I was holding his arms preventing him to push me any further ,I don't want this. I don't want to fight Arnel. He doesn't deserve to be part of this mess.

I look closer at him ,his eyes were dark but if you would look closer it was purple and green. I gasps as realization hits me. Poison. Anger surge through me as I realize what my father did to my innocent brother. They poisoned him and now his wolf is uncontrollable.

"Arnel..." I whispered hoping he can fight through it and get through this.

"Don't even try Eunise." My father added in But I payed no mind as I call into my brother and fight back his claws that started digging my arms.

"Arnel finish you sister off ,while I go around to kill the alpha."

Before I can retort back Arnel snapped his jaws at me and I reflexively dodge. He was fast. Real fast. He was throwing punches here and there and thankfully I was able to fight him off.

"Arnel!" I called him again as I hold his arm that tried punching my face but he just growled as he threw his other hand at me and I groaned.

"It's me ,your sister. Snap out of it please." I started begging him but unfortunately a hit strikes my right side and I stumble back. I touched the wound and blood touched my finger tips.

He's lost control. I look up to see him throw another punch ,I wanted to fight back. But I can't. I was going to let him throw another punch at me but he was thrown off the moment he was a foot away.

Strong pair of arms held my shoulder as my eyes settle on a worried Jungkook. I released a relieved sigh knowing he was here ,yet my brother probably will get more angry. Bad idea.

"Eunise! Are you okay? Why weren't you fighting back?!" His tone was laced with worry and anger and I felt through our bond his emotions and I pitied him at how much he has to juggle all this.

Before I can answer I saw an angry brother running towards as and ready to attack ,with that I held jungkook's arms and threw him off of me as he flies just over a meter. Arnel's claws dig my neck as he carries me. I struggle to catch my breath as his nails pierces my neck and the lack of air is overtaking me.

"A-Arnel." I croaked out.

I need to get to him before he kills me. Before that happens another furious wolf charges at him completely taking him off me and I heaved a huge take of air.

Jungkook is throwing punches at him here and there as he sat on top of my brother. My eyes watered at how much this was for me but I ran to them. I held jungkook's bloody fist as he was about to throw another punch. His eyes were obsidian and filled with rage and if I didn't stop him any longer he would've shifted to his wolf.

"Jungkook stop." He stopped the moment he heard my voice.

"Why?" He croaked out as his eyes turn back to normal.

"He's my brother." I said as I look over a now unconscious body of my brother.

Jungkook sighed and he nodded. He ordered some of his pack members to take Arnel to the infirmary to get treated and we set again to fight what was left.

"Are you okay?" Jungkook said as we watch our pack members carry Arnel as fast as possible without getting attacked.

I nodded as I look over at him too. I sighed as I touch a gash on his collarbone. He hissed as he look down at me.

"You should've been more careful." I said as I look if it was deep.

"Don't worry it'll heal." He said ruffling my hair .

The bushes shake and we both froze at our spot. I tried smelling the air but the familiar scent of my father was not found. Jungkook was doing the same as he put his senses alert as he search around.

Jungkook's hands that was holding my arms held tighter trying to tell me to keep close. This felt like those moments on a movie where the the character searches for bad guys on every action scene but this made it feel like you'll lose your shit.

When I was able to sense an action my eyes settled to an object behind Jungkook. I squint a bit before I gasped and pushed my mate off of me. Again.

I felt it hit me instead and soon growls ,shouts ,and voices that calls my name become whispers as darkness consumed me.
