Carl's p.o.v.
"I'm sorry that I can't go tonight." Enid tells me as I get ready for prom. "I have a late photo shoot."
"It's alright." I'm planning on getting hammered anyway. I adjust my tie in the mirror and watch as Enid smirks at me. She hugs me from behind and kisses my neck.
"Wanna have a smoke before you go?" She asks smiling seductively. I nod my head in agreement. I grab my phone from the night stand before heading out into the living room. Enid lights up a blunt as she sits on the couch. She hands me the lit one and rolls a smaller one for herself.
"Can't look too fried." She laughs. "These pictures are going in the next issue of Vogue."
I nod my head pretending to give a shit. I really don't though. I inhale a smoke and immediately cough it up. I do it often but haven't got used to it. I look at the time and pass it off to Enid.
"I gotta go." I kiss her on the lips, grab my keys and head off to prom. In hopes of getting pissed drunk.
Alex's p.o.v.
"Okay, now let's have Grayson get in between y'all." Maggie says acting like a professional photographer. She snaps the picture and it's time to go to prom. Grayson hugs me and runs off into the living room.
"Okay, it's time to go." Cody says. I hug Maggie goodbye and she looks at me gripping my shoulder. We haven't spoken about the other day and frankly I don't want to.
"Are you sure yo-"
"Maggie, I'm fine." I assure her. She nods a bit and let's me go.
"Do I look fat to you?" I whisper to Cody as we walk out the door.
"You aren't fat, you're pregnant. There's a difference." He says shutting the front door. He pulls me close to him and smiles. "And you're beautiful."
I smile and decided to ignore it and just enjoy my night.

Of course the gym is packed and I'm engulfed in the smell of alcohol. It kind of makes me think of Carl and what he's been up to.
"Cody!" I hear. I shake away my thoughts and focus on the guy coming up to us.
"Hey man, what's up?" Cody asks the boy.
"I slipped some alcohol in. Want any?" He asks completely ignoring me like I'm not even there. Cody glances at me and back to his friend.
"I'm good."
His friend looks at me and then to my stomach back to Cody. This is awkward.
"Long story." I roll my eyes and pull Cody away into the corner.
"This is why I didn't want to come." I whine. Cody kisses my cheek and pulls me into a hug. "I know it's hard, but it's okay. I'm here."
I close my eyes for a bit and open them back up to see someone I wasn't expecting to see.
"Oh my gosh!" I pull away quickly and just stare in shock.
