Chapter 7 - Memories - Part 2

Carl's P.o.v.

Yelling. Yelling is what I woke up to. I sit up quickly. I look over at Alex and she's sweating like crazy. She's yelling and moving in her sleep. I go to touch her but she sits up crying. I hug her tightly. "What's wrong?" I ask rubbing her back. She didn't answer. All she did was cry. After a couple minuets I got her to calm down. With her still in my arms, I lay back down.

"What was that about?" I ask. "I had a nightmare..." She says. "About what?"

I think I already know, but I don't want to jump to conclusions.

"I was in the city...shopping with Rosita. Then...it happened, it started all over again." As she tells me this she holds onto my chest. "Baby...It's alright. It's not going to happen again, we are safe."

I look at the clock. It read, 5:30am.

"It's five thirty in the morning, try and go back to sleep. I love you." I say never letting her go. "I love you too."

My eyes slowly open due to the sun shining into the room. I look at the clock.

9:00a.m.

I get up and look at Alex. She had a long day yesterday. So I decided to just get into the shower and wake her up when I get out.

"Alex..." I say slowly as I shake her. She wakes up and smiles when she sees me. I lean down and kiss her soft lips. I pull away and go blow dry my long ass hair. Alex grabs her clothes and gets into the shower. By the time I got dressed, she was done and out. Her beautiful hair was in a bun, and her outfit to me was stunning. (Picture ⬆)

"Looking beautiful as usual." I say. She smiles and hugs me. I kiss her head and hug her tighter. She places her chin on my chest and looks up at me. "I love you." She says. I smile as I kiss her. "I love you too. Let's go get Grayson and go over Abrahams." She nods.

"Daddy I wanna listen to baby songs." Grayson says from the back seat. I look at Alex as I drive. "Did you bring his baby songs CD?" I ask looking at her then the road. She nods and puts it in. Alex laughs as Grayson sings. I love my family.

Alex turns off the radio as we pull into Abrahams drive way. "Today is the bachelor party right?" She asks. She seems kinda nervous. "Yeah." I say. She sighs. "Hey, I don't have to go if you don't want me to." I say. She shakes her head. "No, I'll be fine." Alex unbuckles, gets out and grabs Gray. I watch her as she walks in. She defiantly isn't fine.

Alex's P.o.v.

The thoughts in my head are just unspeakable. Carl doesn't know this but it seems like every where I look I see them. I see walkers killing and taking over the streets. I just want to go home and by home I mean Florida.

"Hey Alex and Gray!" Rosita says as I enter her house. I slightly smile. I walk past everyone and sit down in the den. I was just staring at Gray but my phone started buzzing. I grabbed it out of my pocket and looked at it.
