Alex's P.o.v.

"Alex..." I hear someone say as I slowly awake. "What." I groan. "Babe...it's time to get up. We're going to the beach today remember." Carl says kissing my ear. "What time is it?" I ask. "Like Nine." I groan and get up. "You know you're really beautiful when you're sleepy." He says laughing. I slowly smile as I grab my pillow and slap him. "You wanna go!?" He yells. I giggle as he tackles me back onto the bed. His lips attached to mine and his hands go to my hips. I laugh which breaks the kiss. "I have to get ready." I say. Carl shakes his head and kisses me. "You're beautiful just like this." He says pulling away. "No! I look horrible!" I scream hiding my face. "C'mon walkers look horrible not you!"

The laughter in the room died. "I-I'm sorry..." He says getting off of me. I've been having trouble lately...with the word walker or anything that had to do with our past. I wasn't afraid before, but something changed over the past two years. I'm horrified.

"It's fine..." I say. Carl gets off the bed and walks into our bathroom. Yeah, we have a bathroom in our bedroom, so cool! "Are you doing anything fancy to you're hair today?" He asks. "Fancy?" I laugh. "Yeah..like straightening it...curling it." I shake my head. "No, nothing fancy." I say laughing. I get up and put my bathing suit on. It's a black one peice...I have to many scars to wear a two peice. Over top I put on a black cover up. "Why are you wearing all black today?" He asks coming out of the bathroom. He's wearing his blue swim trunks. "Because...I want to...I like the color." I say. He looks at me, studying my body. "Babe...why do you always wear a one peice?" He asks. "Because Carl..." Is all I say. He knows why. "Babe you don't need to hide th-"

"Stop it Carl! Just stop!" I yell. He hugs me. "I'm sorry for asking, please don't be mad at me." He says. "I'm not mad. I'm sorry for yelling at you." I say. "You don't need to be sorry baby." I hug Carl tighter. His scent. His arms. His body. Everything. It all just calms me down. "I love you baby." He says kissing my head. "I love you too."

We finished packing. Carl is putting everything in his car. "Rick where is Gray?" I ask getting a water bottle out of the fridge. "He's over Maggie and Glenn's." He says changing the channels on the tv. "Thanks, love you, see ya later." I say walking out the door. I run next door and walk in. "Adriana!" I scream. "I'm coming!" She yells from up stairs.

"Mommy!" Grayson says running to me from the kitchen. "Hi my baby boy!" I kneel down so he can run into my arms. "So that's where he ran to." Maggie laughs. "Gotta keep an eye on this boy, now that he knows how to walk." I laugh. "Yeah Maggie. You should see him at the house. He's all over the place." She laughs. "So, how's Adriana?" I ask. "She's alright...she hasn't really talked about it."

Adriana gave her baby up for adoption. When everything started going normal, she was having second thoughts about being a teen mom.

"I'm finally ready!" Adriana says walking down stairs in her pink bikini. "Cover up." Maggie says handing her, her also pink cover up. Adriana puts it on as she walks out the door. "Mommy has to go now. I love you. Be good for Aunt Maggie okay?" Grayson nods his head. "Now give me my kiss." I say. Gray puts his hands on my cheeks and sticks his lips out. I kiss him gently. "Thank you. Mommy is happy now! Go play." I say letting him down. "Bye, Maggie!" I say walking out of the house. I run to Carl's car. "Are we packed and ready to go?" I ask. "Yup!" he says. I get into the passenger seat and unhook my IPhone from the phone charger. I go on instagram. "Babe lets take a photo." I say as Carl gets in. I hold the phone up, Carl kisses me as I take the picture. I look at it and laugh. You can see Adriana in the back.

I post it on instagram.

'Going to the beach with the babe @carlrocks103'

I close my phone and buckel up.
