The Earth's Angel

There she goes again...

A real angel.

But she doesn't know that she is an angel.

Only a select few know the truth about her.

She walks like she is gliding on clouds, without even trying,

Without even knowing.

The sun shines behind her

Even when there is no sun to shine.

This angel,

Who knows not her own beauty

Roams the world,

brightening up the world for those

Lucky enough to notice the angel among them.

People try to tell her the truth,

But society shuts them down before she can hear them...

She is not the only one though.

There are many of them out there,

For those lucky enough to see them.

They are one in a million

You must be thinking now:

"But everyone is an angel."

You are correct, but the angel I speak of,

She is different from the others.

She, who knows not her own beauty,

Is a true angel,

For the simple reason of her inability to know her own beauty...

This poem doesn't reference anyone in particular, it is simply a message to whoever needs it.

This is my second poem, and I never even considered myself to be a poet. If you are enjoying this book, let me know, and I will try write more poems, and eventually start adding my observations in as well (Most likely in the form of poems as well), because this is fun.

Cheers peeps.
