At the Pool...

Jackie's POV

After the last day of MAGCON, I headed down to the pool to take one last swim. All the guys were upstairs in their rooms on vine or something. I heard my phone buzz, and looked down to see that Hayes texted me. 

Where are you? 

Going to the pool I texted back. 

I wasn't looking up while I walked and texted and ran into someone.

"Oh my gosh I am so sorry!" I say. When I look up I realize it was Jack Gilinsky. 

"You had the same idea to go for a swim?" I ask, I figured he was going he had a towel, flip flops on and a bathing suit.

"Yeah, we can go together." He says. Jack is like an older brother to me, besides Nash and Will. He likes to tease me, but in the way that we are friends. 

While we were putting our towels down, I said, "Jack, I'm sorry for asking if you had a girlfriend, I was just curious." 

"It's fine, I don't really mind." Jack said, which surprised me, since he didn't tell us much about his life outside MAGCON. 

We both went into the deep end, and I ended up going into the freezing water first.

"I beat you in!" I yell at him.

"I'm coming in to get you!" He yells back. As he jumps in, I swim away, and he chases me around the pool for a bit. 

After we both tire, we lay down on the pool deck on our chairs with our towels underneath us.

"That was...interesting." Jack said. 

I sit upright, and say, "Hey, I have an idea for a tradition. On the last night of each MAGCON, we go down to the hotel pool and swim, like we did today. Hoepfully minus me being chased!" I say. We both crack up.

"Deal." He says, and we pinkie swear.
