Chapter Two:
The bus soon arrived, and Yasmine sat in an empty single seat.
Soon, she arrived at her college campus, Samuel City College. It was a large college, and seemed like there were a billion people studying there. It was an average GPA college. Nothing like Harvard or Yale. Just average.
She was supposed to be in English in two minutes. Crap!
Yasmine ran through the endless stairs to the third floor of the massive building and ran into her English class. She spotted Hailey and an empty seat next to her and quickly sat there. Yasmine looked around it seemed like the teacher wasn't there yet, so she was safe.
"I thought you'd be late!" Hailey exclaimed. She was wearing a light pink frilly skirt that went just above her knees, a pink spaghetti-strap, with a white sweater. Her red-ish hair was in curls, and her eyes were as green as they come.
How did she manage to look that pretty, yet still make it to school on time?!
"Yeah, I ran my butt here like it was on fire." Yasmine explained, and they both started giggling.
After five minutes, Mr.Kendall was in. He was in his fifties. He was a little on the fat side, with hair only on the side of his head, the middle bald. He was a nice, old man.
"Okay, class! Someone tell me what happened through chapter three through five," Mr.Kendall yelled to the large classroom.
And so the day began.

After half the classes for the day, it was lunch time.
"So, do you wanna catch a movie after? Or do you have work today?" Hailey asked, as she walked side by side with Yasmine, holding her tray.
"Aww, I have work today. How about Saturday?" Yasmine suggested, as she set her tray down at the table next to the window, where they always sat.
"Can't. Family reunion, sorry." Hailey said apologetically, sitting across from her.
Yasmine bit into her cheese burger. She was so hungry after not eating after for hours.
"So, how's work? Everything busy as it was when I last visited?" Hailey asked, poking her salad with her fork. Then, she took some dressing and spread it all over the salad, and mixed it.
"Yeah, its busy as ever. You know, now that spring is coming around. Love is in the air, and more couples are having their dates at our restaurant," Yasmine replied after taking a sip of her coke.
"Man, I wish I had a boyfriend," Hailey said with a sad tone to her voice. She started playing around with a small ball of tomato in the salad.
"Me too," Yasmine agreed, finishing up her burger. Though, she actually wanted Aaron only. "But, I seriously don't understand how a pretty girl like you doesn't have one."
"Yeah, okay," Hailey said disbelievingly. "I just haven't met someone that is my type."
Yasmine remembered Hailey's long list of things the guy had to be like for her to actually like them.
"Well, nobody's perfect, Hail." Yasmine smiled. They called each other 'Yaz' and 'Hail'.
"I know, but, 90% of the guys on campus are doofuses."
"Now.. I agree with that." Yasmine nodded agreeingly, then they both start laughing.

After lunch, and a couple of classes, the school day was over.
