"You know, nothing good happens past midnight." Cody tried approaching Laura, however she crawled away from him.
"Laura. . . I won't hurt you." His eyes were saddened at the sight of the one he cares about cowering in fear.
Especially since he was the cause.
Cody knew he had to explain it to you sometime, however you also needed time to think. With a reluctant sigh, he took her back home in a flash. Laura didn't even know she was there until she examined the familiar surroundings of her bedroom. With that, she started crying even more that before.
A great deal of time went past before she had finally stopped. After all that crying and this late hour Laura was extremely tired. She decided against going to school tomorrow and as she didn't have parents, no one could say no.
She especially didn't want to see him again.
