You follow Louis out to his car and surprisingly he opens the door for you so you can get in.

"Thank you." you say so quietly you're not sure if it actually came out until you look up at Louis who just slightly nods. This was so awkward. Normally if you two were on talking terms you'd talk about all the fun things you would do together in Sydney Australia but instead you were forced to sit in silence the whole ride to your flat.

The whole ride you wanted oh so badly to start a conversation but you didn't know how or what to talk about. So instead you just fiddle with your hands and looked out the window at the passing scenery. You missed the old Louis, you missed the hours and hours of pointless conversations, hoping they would never end. But unfortunately it was over. And by Louis's lack of conversation you knew it.

He pulled up to your flat and you start to get out of the car, and so does he. You look at him confused, "Louis what are you doing?"

"What? You're not gonna invite me in?" you two laugh for a second and it almost feels like you two used to be .

"Well you can come in, but don't you have to pack?"

"Nah I packed last night before all the boys even knew we were going."

"And you never told me where we were going?" you laugh slightly and then it hits you. He didn't tell you because you two weren't talking. You weren't back to normal even though right now it felt like you were. "I'm sorry, I-I'll go pack"

You lead him into your flat and let him lead himself to where ever he wants to go and you make your way into your room. If you two were okay, he'd be in your room helping you pick out every outfit, but instead you were flying solo. Great. You weren't used to having to pack for yourself. This would be interesting.

You grab a large suitcase from your closet and open it then set it on your neatly made bed. Then you go back to your overflowing closet. "Ugh!" you say a little louder than you had planned. You hear the TV go off in the other room and just assume Louis couldn't find anything to watch and was reading one of the magazines on your coffee table.

You start with you "delicates" as Louis liked to call them. You threw them all in your bag first since that's really all you knew you would need. Other then that, picking out outfits was not your strong suit.

"Oh so you just because Australia is nice and warm, you think you can just walk around in your delicates?" you look at Louis completely mortified and snatch the bra out of his hand.

"Well you know I just assumed maybe that would help me make some friends." you shove the bra back into your bag.

"Well you're gonna make some sketchy friends then. Need help with packing?"

You look up at Louis with a puppy dog face that you knew he could never resist, no matter how mad. "Please, God, I didn't realize how little fashion sense I had until I was attempting to pack."

"No prob babe, I'll help ya." He called you babe again. Your stomach practically did a flip. He was actually talking to you AND he was helping you pack. Maybe things were going to be alright after all.
