Chapter 15

"Louis!" you scream as he continues to push you higher and higher on the swings.

"Rae" he mimics your tone while laughing. "Do you want me to stop?"

"Yes please! This is getting dangerous!" you normally didn't mind heights too much, but this was getting a little bit past your comfort zone. He slowly stops you and grabs your hand to take you over to the slide and you stop for a second causing him to stop as well and turn to look at you.

"Rae?" he asks as he walks toward you, coming inches away from your face. "Are you okay?"

You can feel the warmth of his breath on your face, causing you to smile. You didn't mind how close he was to you , in fact you loved it. You loved him.

"Louis..." you whisper, so quietly that if he wasn't so close it would've been inaudible. You knew you had to tell him, but you couldn't get the words out.

"Yes Rae?.." he whispers back, causing you to shiver slightly.

"I-I think I-" you bite your lip as you stare at the ground as you figure out what it is you want to say to him. Well you know what you want to say, as for how it would come out, you weren't so sure.

You feel him gently grab your chin as he pulls it back up to his face. And before you know it, his warm lips are pressed up against yours. It was so sudden, but so perfect. You longed and wished for this moment, and it was just so perfect. He pulls away and looks you in your eyes.

"Rae, you don't know how long I've been waiting to do that." he says putting his head against your forehead. You smile and look up and give him one quick peck before answering him.

"I wish you would've done it sooner." You giggle as he takes your hand and leads you down the beach.

<Alycia's POV>

I smile at him, waiting for him to try to get it out of me, knowing he will be unsuccessful, but hey, it'll be interesting. I didn't really know how to tell him "Hey Harry, yeah so I'm not over Brad" because I know very well that he will not take it well.

I look past Harry and see Rae and Louis kissing, and for a moment I could've swore it was Brad and I. I can't hold it in much more and I let my emotions get the best of me. I grab for Harry, and he somehow manages to embrace me into a reassuring hug as sobbed. I missed him, I missed Brad.

"Leash" Harry whispers in my ear as he keeps me close. "Brad isn't worth your tears. Just know that I'm always here for you. As whatever you need. Friend, companion, punching bag" I sniffle and giggle at Harry. "I only want the best for you."

I pull away from his tight embrace, and before I know what I smash my lips up against his. Not knowing what to expect. But I knew it was what I wanted. Ever since I had met Harry, I knew there was something there, I just had to push it in the back of my mind. But now with Brad out of the way, I guess I decided to act on it. I'm just about to pull away when he kisses me back. "Harry," I say as I pull away. "I-I'm sorry, its just ever since I met you I felt this connection, but I couldn't act on it with Brad-" and before I know it, his lips are against mine. Reassuring that he felt the same about me.
