Chapter 8

Louis slowly pushes a stray strand of hair off of your face, as you look deep into his eyes.

"Lou, I'm so sorry for what I've done. I-I didn't mean to hurt you I just."

Before you could finish you stopped yourself as Louis started to lean in. A rush of emotions ran through your head. Louis was going to kiss you. Did you like him like that? Did you want to kiss him back? Were you just better as friends? Or did you want to be more than friends?

Before you could decide what you wanted there was a knock at the door, causing you two to pull apart.

"Louis!" Niall whined "Where's my bag? I'm tired and hungry and it's got my clothes and back-up snacks."

You sigh, not thinking Louis would hear.

"Be right there Niall." Louis walks back over to you and picks up your chin so you are looking into his eyes.

"Okay babe time for bed."

"But I don't wanna, Lou, I'm not tired!"

He picks you up before you can protest anymore and tucks you tight in bed. "Okay so you heard Alycia, I'm right next door if you need anything, okay?"

You nod and look at his face. His perfect face to go with his perfect hair and his perfect smile. Wait no-no Louis was a friend. Just a friend, right? But he was so perfect. Not just on the outside but on the inside too. He was always there for you. Always listening, always caring. But he would never feel the same way.

"Okay Louis, thank you." you blush. You felt more butterflies now, ever since you almost kissed they have been worse than normal.

He kisses you lightly on the nose as he got up to leave. It took everything in your power not to pull him down and in for a kiss.

You knew he used to like you, but ever since your fight, he hasn't been as flirtacious. And you weren't sure if he thought of you as anything other than a friend.

You turned on your side as Louis exited the room.

You were falling for him. You were falling HARD. You were finally seeing another side to him. But you were seeing it just a bit to late.
