Jenny leaned against the lamp post next to her bike, chatting to her friend Sandra, who lived overseas, via Discord on her phone. It was 2:15 PM on Saturday 9th June 2018, in the U.K Midlands, and there was a happy yet serene atmosphere around her, as the weather was warm and the flowers were in full bloom, but it wasn't too hot. Every so often a fresh, gentle gust of wind would blow through the nearby trees, causing the old cherry blossom petals still laying on the ground to take flight. The sky was almost completely clear, too, except for that one rogue cloud that would hover in a random part of the sky.

Jenny's parents had allowed her to have a mosey around her home village as it was such a nice day. Her friend Eleanor, who lived nearby, could, sadly, not make it as she had to do some homework that was due very soon. At this moment in time, Jenny was wearing a casual shirt with jeans and black boots.

She was also a die-hard fan of all the Cars films, but Cars 2 was her most favourite. The spies, the action, the comedy, she loved it. But what she loved most about it was 2 of its characters: Finn McMissile and Rod "Torque" Redline, as she had a HUGE crush on them both.

But at one point a few minutes later, as Jenny rode her bike through the woods on the outskirts of the village, she wasn't watching where she was going and ended up riding over a tree root poking up from the ground, and she yelped out as she fell off her bike as a result of the impact and landed on the ground with a loud THUD.

"Owie..." She winced to herself, seeing the bruise on her arm and feeling it tenderly with her fingers. "What the-...?" Jenny also muttered after seeing a strange light appear in front of her. It only lasted for a split-second, but she still noticed it. No, she was probably just imagining it. It was most likely the sunlight flashing off her glasses.

Although just when she was about to turn around and head back after coming to this conclusion, the light appeared again, but this time it lasted only a couple of seconds longer before vanishing again.

"What the hell was that all about?" Jenny squinted in the sunlight peering through the trees, trying to see if there was someone else in the woods. She got up and walked a little further away and into the woods, and almost leaped out of her skin when she put her hand in front of her and it vanished. She pulled it back towards her and her hand instantly reappeared.

And then it was revealed why. What looked like a white shimmering portal appeared. Jenny's eyes widened, as this was very similar to occurrences in the movies she watched that weren't Cars 2, and so she gingerly put her hand out again and felt the cool, smooth surface of this strange portal, which rippled upon contact with her fingertips. But she soon realised that she couldn't pull her hand away again, as she was being sucked into it.

"HELP!" Was all Jenny managed to shout before she fell into the portal, and the world seemed to spin round and round until Jenny got so dizzy that she blacked out completely.

When Jenny woke up later, she rubbed her eyes slowly and, still feeling tired, she noticed that it was now night-time, so she'd obviously been knocked out for a fair few hours, but the ground beneath her was tarmac, not plantlife, and there was a cartoon-ish feel to her surroundings somehow, but what was that portal she'd seen earlier? And where exactly was she now? How far away from home was she?

Then she saw that the tall buildings and skyscrapers nearby were brightly-lit and had signs in all sorts of colours with Japanese writing on them.

"I'm in JAPAN?!" Jenny whisper-yelled to no one in particular, starting to panic. How did she get there?!

"Are you alright, miss?" Another voice was suddenly heard. It sounded very similar to Michael Caine, and Jenny's heart very nearly stopped when she heard this right before a silvery-blue Aston Martin DB5 with bright turquoise eyes drove up in front of her, eyes slightly wide at the sight of her.

Jenny's own eyes became even wider, and then she stood up and, after the words had gotten temporarily stuck in her throats from equal excitement and shock, she blurted out,

"Finn McMissile?!"
