The silence swallowed me as I bathed in the blue glow of the large stalagmite. I inhaled deeply, my throat was parched from the lack of water in this lonely cave. Exhaling, I stretched myself out and strolled to the entrance of my outcropping of the cliff. The warmth of my galaxy's sun managed to bring a smile to my lips. Rolling my shoulders I knew it was time.
I stretched out my arms like an eagle reaching its wings to the sky. Closing my eyes, I took a step to the edge of the cliff. And fell.

The wind whistled passed my ears and whipped through my hair. I yanked my arms to my sides and braced myself for the moment. Snapping my eyes open, I watch as the ground climbed closer and closer. The wind clawed at my arms and tried to rip out my hair. Gravity pulled me faster and faster towards the ground. I smirked.

My wings were aching to catch the wind and soar through the clouds. I wanted to fly up and touch the sky. To paint with the clouds and look at the veins of the planet from above.

Shaking from my day dream I saw that the ground was coming up to meet my face in seconds.
Before I could panic my reflexes took over. Wings unfurling and catching the wind, pounding hard, and lifting my body up. I nearly hit a column of rock on my way up. I soared up and caught a warm draft. I let it carry me to a forest. Well not really a forest. It's actually just a bunch of twigs and tree stumps. I landed in the small clearing. Folding my wings i turned around to face a nest made of twigs. This is no ordinary bird's nest. It doubles as a portal.

Concentrating hard, I called the owner of the portal for permission to travel through it. May I have permission to access the Earth through your portal? My inquired the force through my thoughts. I let them travel along the lightning bolts of space to their final destination. Permission granted. A deep voice thundered in my head. Thank you. I replied with sincere gratitude. Opening my eyes I was greeted with a swirling blue vortex with a will to suck up anything that got near it. Grinning I jumped in and let the portal take me to my new home.

Zipping through the vortex i noticed that i passed over the entrance to Earth by accident. I knew that trying to go back would be no use, so I let my fate and the portal take me to a new dimension.

POP! I was thrown onto a patch of grass. I looked up to see the portal closing up, its blue glow fading little by little. Analyzing my surrounding I saw that had just landed in someone's garden. The person who owned the garden seemed to love white rose bushes and white lilies. I had fallen next to one of the bushes. To my left was a large iron gate. Two guards were already racing towards me. Brushing grass and leaves off my pants, I stood up and checked my ID. Written in intricate letters was my name, my abilities, and résumé.

Name: Lorien
Abilities: Can do many things such as making you palace shine brighter than other palaces
Résumé: (A/N it was too long to write so I didn't and actually I don't know Lorien's whole résumé/records and whatever)

The guards wore armor over white uniforms like knights with white sweater vests. White tipped spears, white capes, and white patterns shields completed the look. The shields had a playing card crest on them. The card was the Ace of Cloves. It was very strange to see a palace garden, guards with white sweater vests, and a crest of the Ace of Cloves. Maybe it was the heat from the sun or the over whelming energy left from the portal, but suddenly I felt off center. I guess standing up was a bad idea because the next thing I knew my face was on the ground and the world around me faded to pitch black darkness.
